Oh, I didn’t think they would be relevant, but hoped they had a few extra wins in them with the new infusion of players like Sabas.

Yeah, glad portland didn’t lose ground, but definitely didn’t gain anything much tonight either.

Okay...I actually thought about this.
Now certainly, the last time they were relevant was during the Adelman years. And IIRC, the last couple years of his tenure were a bit "meh" even though they were an above .500 team. I hate to say it but...20 years ago? Maybe when they went to the Finals?

You have to factor in the Kings terrible record with lottery picks. Even if they draft ahead of Portland, they'll probably pick somebody we don't want. The Sabbas Halliburton trade was awful. Why would anyone think that would make them a better team?
