I had Too Much to Dream Last Night

Post#1 » by BNM » Wed Oct 12, 2022 5:03 pm

I had a dream last night that we tanked and got lucky in the lottery and ended getting Wembanyama in the draft.

So, purely hypothetical, if Sharpe ends up being the star we all hope he can be, we get Wembanyama and we still have Dame as our veteran leader, who would be the ideal coach to pilot a team with those players as our Big 3?

I know ime cheated on his wife but that's a lot better than being accused of gang rape and in his first year led his team to the finals not the lottery. I would hire him in a heart beat. Hopefully he's available whenever billups is eventually canned. It would be pretty easy to root for a Portland native and a fellow PSU allumn.

Knowing this team's history with big men, I do not want the bad voodoo of the Blazers getting a #1 pick and then drafting a 7'2" big man that weighs 230 pounds.

This guy might be a legend in the hypothetical sense but no one looks more prone to future injuries then someone like that, especially if he is wearing a Blazer jersey.

He'd end up on IR if he got drafted by Portland.

I can't even imagine that scenario as I think we are too good to tank that bad this year.

I had a dream that Nurk played a full season injury free.
