The reports of Dame being washed were greatly exaggerated.

Awesome start, and the team has needed every one of those points, as the offense is a bit of a mess.

I was assured that he was now a Russell Westbrook type contract.

Yep, we sure would be lucky to trade Dame for Westbrook and a pick or two. Laker fans have assured me that they are doing us a huge favor with this deal.

I still think we are best off moving Dame when his value is HIGH. The problem is that when he is playing like that nobody wants to trade him. I've also heard he can't be traded do to the extension and I don't know whe that clears...still of we could pull off a multi team deal that lands us say Ayton+Patrick Williams + a couple 1sts we could be contenders when Sharpe turns the corner.

Just feels like a team that could be developing while fun and competitive... it's only when the thought of trading Dame hurts that it makes some sense to do so.

Though most won't understand why, I very much think Dame's best game of the 4 was against the Nuggets. I know he didn't go for 40+ like in the previous 2, but he played like a PG, doing the things that are required of that position beyond just scoring. If he can continue to increase his assists, lower his TOs, and shoot just a few less shots at a higher % like he did in the 4th game, the Blazers DO have a chance at winning it all. Dame's defensive improvement is also worth high praise IMHO.

I think I'm seeing Dame, being challenged by Chauncey to become an even better ((PG)) than he ever was under Stotts and I think it's entirely possible that we have yet to see the best of Dame. CONGRATS!

No one is happy with P.Will in Chicago, he’s looked like garbage. Afraid of the ball, overthinks, great tools but lacks instinct. This is a horrible return for dame. And no obviously we don’t wants to trade him now because with a few more pieces we could be serious contenders while Dame is in MVP mode this season, which is fine because he can’t be traded until next season anyways. I think we’ll free up our pick and make a splash at the deadline to try and push us over the top. The last time we started 4-0 we were a 4th qtr away from the finals and probably a title.
