Hope we can generate offense without Dame and Ant. I don't love our chances here... please prove me wrong Shaedon

I'm in Florida right now and didn't hear anything about Simons. What's his deal?

“Simons (foot) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Suns.

Analysis:

Simons will miss his first game of the season Friday due to left foot inflammation. With Damian Lillard (calf) also sidelined, the bulk of Portland's backcourt responsibilities will likely fall on Shaedon Sharpe and Josh Hart, while Keon Johnson could also be in the mix for increased minutes.”

I'm sorry but it's a joke that Grant and Nurk get thrown to the floor but Lee gets half the contact on the perimeter and gets a foul.

The refs weren't doing us any favors and we still pull off the win without Dame and Ant. I was hoping at least one win in the back-to-backs in Phoenix.

On to tomorrow where the Suns will be pissed and likely will blow us out.

To be clear, I definitely think Jerami traveled on that last play. But after the way they got to beat up our guys in the post and literally push them to the floor in crucial moments, I'll take it. Victory!

Agree with this.

Can't believe we took this win, we had no right to based on our players and lack of offensive talent relative to Phoenix, playing on their homecourt too.

Huge kudos to the team for their hustle. Billups has them really buying into defense and hustle, which is something Portland has lacked for the last decade. This is without GP2 as well.

Props to Nurk for a big fourth quarter, although he was pretty poor for the rest of the game. I really hate it when we give him the ball 18 feet from the rim and he starts pounding the rock and posting up. That's begging for a turnover.

Bad game for me to miss. I was box score watching and thought Portland was in for a long night when down 8 early. Then seeing the Blazers take the lead and balloon it out to 15 was surprising. I again thought Portland was toast when Phoenix came back to take the lead. Portland has shown a lot of grit in this early season and this game appears like it may be no different on that front. That bodes well for Portland’s playoff aspirations. Woo hoo!

I watched the Weird Al movie tonight, missed it as well… but stoked just as much as I would have been watching it live just seeing highlights online. Loving this team, literally the best vibes I’ve seen on a Blazer squad since the Dame year he hit 0.8 against the Rockets.

That’s fine. Season series is clinched. Let coach Billups play PG for all I care tomorrow.

Good win, your team wanted “IT” more and led majority of the game before finally prevailing. Blazers are Phoenix’ kryptonite, I’m just glad we won’t have to face the blazers until later part of the season. Good riddance for now! :banghead:

Ballsy win. The Suns do indeed beat us today more than likely but nonetheless going 1-1 in this series is pretty solid for 2 tough road games without dame and anf no less.
