Whether he's worth it or not I'm glad we got a year of grant before extending to evaluate whether we should shell out money or burn it all down.

Ultimately, Portland will have to give him the $112 Million/4 extension he seems to want.

Portland has to know they need suitable partner to team with Grant and it'll be interesting to
see how aggressive they will be at the trade deadline, for they have Nurk's contract and
the expiring contract of Hart (if they decide they can't sign him or feel he's a threat to leave)
to use for a big, physical and mobile big player. It simply is a lot to ask of Hart to have to
constantly sacrifice his game and have to battle against the numerous 6-8 guys who are better
equipped to play under the basket.
