Sharpes game reminds me more and more of CJ. Sure he can dunk over anyone but he really seems to have more fun pulling off tough dribbles to get himself a midrange look.

Wow. That dunk by Sharpe. Holy smokes.

This sucks

It's so demoralizing as a fan to watch a team get run out the building, but especially when the refs seem to pile it on. It's not fun, it's blatant, it's whack. I can only imagine what it's like for the team.

With all of the injuries lately (thankfully all of them seem relatively minor), it's not surprising that Portland's been struggling of late. Hopefully when Dame, Hart, and Nas come back and GPII makes his debut, they're able to stay healthy and Portland can regain steam.

could have seen Dame missing time with the same nagging, calf injury but fortunately the 2023 draft
has more than just Victor in it.

Man the guys on 620 are total Homers who preach the blazers agenda. I've never heard one poor word about the roster or anyone running it.

It sucks to see, but I too am starting to see some glowing similarities to last season's stealth tank job. Feels like Cronin has kept this team very flexible in terms of what direction to go in, and not really fully committing to any. Win now around Dame, Tank for another Blue-Chipper, or Other...

22 games in! I think Jody and Cronin are nearing a big cross-road and still weighing all options. If we are going to Stealth Tank, it will be much more difficult now without our commander, CJ Elleby. I hope we don't go that route. There will be plenty of sellers between now and the deadline... I think we should be buyers, but Cronin will need to do so, while remaining under that tax. Seems doable with the wealth of assets we have, and I would absolutely shop our next years' FRP in the process, if we have it available to include in trade.

We should bring back Melo. We need scoring badly, he’s a reliable clutch shooter plus a great locker room presence and mentor. We lack forward depth anyways and we have an open roster spot.

I think our offense is too simplistic. It's basically 2 or occasionally 3 man sets where the other 2 guys just stand around and basically don't have to be guarded. I'd like to see us bring in some more complex offenses with some off-ball action and all five guys being involved.

I agree that the offense is too simplistic. However I want to see them be able to run this offense effectively before we expand what we are asking the young guys to do.
