Dame hasn't been confirmed yet, I hope he's rested and ready to play. It's been so long since he's consistently played well. He started the season on fire and has shot like trash every game since, picking up where he left off last season. I'm ready to see the old Dame again!!

Turns out we’re a lot better with Dame. It’s wild seeing us have basically 4 20 point scorers in a game.

Nice win on a B2B with road travel, that's pretty hard to do but we did have Dame and Hart who did not play in the last few games and in Dame's case quite a few games before that.
These are a bit harder to win, having to travel the night before but the Blazers took the Pacers seriously which helps.

Can Nurk hit 2 free throws in a row? So frustrating!
Good to see Lillard back striking from distance.

As good as Shaedon has been shooting for the field, it's interesting that he seems to struggle at the FT line.

Probably some mental issue, for how good he looks shooting the ball he should easily be a 80% FT shooter. I assume he will focus on that aspect of his game and work on it as the years go by.

I am so surprised how few comments there are about this victory, and the handful that did, didn't seem overly enthused by it. I myself, am totally thrilled by what I saw in this game. It was the first game since Chauncey's arrival(iirc), that Dame and Simons both had near perfect performances, and finally proved they can co-exist on the court together. Chauncey threaded the needle!
Can't forget to mention the rest of the squad, because they too were diamonds IMO. Grant, Nurkic, and all others really did a great job... of doing their respective jobs. Box scores... very impressive all around, but again I can't emphasize enough how I feel like we achieved a major hurdle, finding the right mix/spacing of Dame and Simons on the court, and both players played exactly like they should... as Point Guards. High Assists with Low TO's. Just glad to see it finally work. Couldn't be happier.
If our team can rinse and repeat the formula of this game, polish it up and start adding some flavor to the offense, this season could get real interesting. Biggest concern for me now is Eubanks and Watford. While I like both for what they bring and would like to keep them, The Box score shows me 30+ minutes between the two, that could and should be improved upon. Watford and Eubanks, great as long-term 3rd stringers on a championship team, so can we please get a 2nd string C, BEFORE we break Nukic. Pretty-Please

I was at the game, just behind the hoop on the Blazers bench side... here are my thoughts on a game they needed to win given that they were without Haliburton.
1. Dame looked fine, he was consciously trying to make sure his re-appearance didn't take away from Ant or Grant... and it worked.
2. Josh Hart is a monster... who needs to shoot 3pt shots when he's open in the flow of the offense. He's overpassing on wide open shots and it needs to stop.
3. They need GP2 as a change of pace ball-stopper... He and Hart will be fun to watch together... but it's going to cut into Sharpe time... be prepared.
4. Nurk has lost a step, he's still valuable, but the injuries have robbed him of a critical bit of athleticism that allowed the Beast to come out. He's still a good center, but he's never going to fully be what we were hoping for.
5. I love Watford's energy... but he needs to limit his ball handling at this point, and not try to create off the dribble... his handle just isn't there yet.
6. Sharpe is struggling, but he still oozes potential... don't be shocked if he's the bait for finally getting that BIG trade we all have wanted.
Good Blazers win... December is a much easier schedule... 10 wins seems do-able... let's get after it.

The entire team, even Lillard, seem to be struggling from the free throw line this season.
