Nice win by Portland. The D for a stretch early in the 4th causing multiple Spur turnovers was great to see, and Dame and Ant cooking in the same game was awesome. Portland has a lot of capable players and it will be exciting to see how they fare once GP2 starts playing.

Lillard continues to show how valuable he is, this year he is without a doubt a top 10 player. It's almost a crime to leave him off the list. Beyond Lillards scoring he distributes the ball at a very high level and most NBA fans/pundits seem to forget this fact.

Blazers are now 5-1 in their last 6 and Lillard has played in 5 of those games.

11 - 5 in games Dame has played = .688 winning percentage. .667 winning percentage currently good for 1st place in the Western Conference.

He is averaging 28.8 ppg on .645 TS%. Only Durant and Curry are averaging more points on a higher TS%. That's some pretty elite company!

Also, the Blazers offensive rating in games whcih Dame has played is 118.3 vs 115 overall. Note that Boston leads the NBA with 119 and Denver is second at 117.2. In other words this team can hang with the best offensively. Assuming GP2 gets on the court soon we should also be able to improve substantially defensively. Presumably one will come at the expense of the other.

I'll trade a little offense to improve our defense Any day

Ya, the team is preforming above my expectations (And highly above them when Dame is healthy) - but I am most surprised at how good our O is and how poor our D is. We need to improve defensively to make any noise in the PO's. We have the guys to do it, just need to become cohesive. Hope we trend in that direction
