At least the team did not wear themselves down by extending themselves to try to get back
into last night's game and coming into tonight's game tired and losing to the Rockets.

Easy win, even with the Rockets rested for days the Blazers come in and easily take care of them.

Hey if he plays the last 40ish games of the season and looks incredible I will be completely fine with his timeline of return.

TBH, I don't really think he is a big enough difference maker to determine whether we go to the playoffs or not so his return is really more about integrating him into our rotation, but he very well could give us an important edge in a playoff series against a dynamite scorer like Curry, Morant, Booker or Doncic and that alone makes him worth it.

When I use the term incredible I mean incredible for him, not that he is some insane game changer that will be a huge difference maker. I just want him to go out there and produce the level of defense I have seen from him in clips for GSW last year. If he can do that any offense he brings to the table is a bonus on top of that.

Luka humbled the Blazers the game before. No shame. He's that good. But having a defensive minded player to throw at him would have made a huge difference. Not saying the Blazers win that game with GP2, but they don't get blown out. Honestly, who is Dallas' second best player? And did you have to check the roster to remember his name?
Not a GP2 fan (yet). But the Blazers spent the money and the roster spot. Hoping something comes out of it.

Maybe I didn't word it right, but what I was getting at is a player like him isn't so much a regular season win games night in and night out guy but that he maximizes his value a playoff specialist to shut down opposing stars over a multi-game series. He certainly would help the daily grind toward 82 don't get me wrong, just that where he can impact our fortunes the most is come playoff time when we need to bother a specific player for consecutive games. Offense wins the regular season, defense wins the post-season type of thinking.
