The road woes and late game execution woes continue. Indiana got really scrappy on D in crunch time and Portland couldn’t handle it.

The Blazers missed the last 13 shots of the game it's just unreal, even if the Pacers picked up defensive intensity it shouldn't be that bad. It's not like the Pacers are a top 3 team defensively, they are pretty good defensively but not great.
One upside is the Blazers are 9-6 at home and are 10-13 on the road. This team has played 15 games at home and 23 games on the road. That should bode well for the future since I think they are likely even better at home then that 9-6 record shows, and they have played 8 more road games so far.
I really think GP II is proving how valuable he is though he seems like his presence alone helps this team do a lot more things defensively and inspires them more on the defensive end.

Eubanks, Sharpe, Keon and Jabari as a bench isn’t gonna cut it in either of those areas unfortunately

Yeah I'm not really seeing much vet presence on this team outside of Lillard, GP II, and maybe Grant. I guess Nurk would count also but he is not really one to be vocal, he might show some vet presence at times but he clearly can't inspire the team much.

Remember at the beginning of the year when I said Portland would go 41-41? Well, here we are approaching mid-season with a .500 record.
Moonbeam did a great job disproving the "Portland collapses late in games" myth, but being outscored 15-2 to lose a winnable game sticks in your head more than the stats he provided.
