No Nurk until the all star break, I like Eubanks off the bench but we are going to be dominated by size and rebounding each night. Roster construction sucks, they were expecting Nurkic to be an iron man.

What an insane story of two halves. Going from a clear blowout to basically beating a team in 2 quarters... not done yet, but my goodness. Can't tell if it's the Blazers being crazy good and can hover or just the Wizards being the same-ol mediocre Wizards.

This was a very entertaining comeback! Ant was blazing and opened the game up for Portland, and Watford came up huge!

Washington appears to be another enigma like Portland. Their SRS is 0.13 which suggests they are a middling team like Portland, but their streakiness has been even more pronounced than Portland's, at least from a W/L perspective. They had a 10-game losing streak earlier in the season, a 5-game winning streak awhile ago and were on a 6-game winning streak before this game.

What's especially wild is that Porzingis could get essentially whatever he wanted out there tonight given Portland's size limitations and general defensive struggles. To a lesser extent, Beal could as well. Portland's 3-point brigade behind Ant's flamethrower 3rd quarter just broke their backs.

Solid win. The Wizards were well rested and had been playing hot the last 10 or so games.

We knew coming into the season our center depth was questionable. Nurkić has only played 70+ games twice in his career. Eubanks has been amazing. Talk about coming out of nowhere. Best surprise minimum signing since Melo, or more realistically Pryzbilla. But he can't play 48 minutes. The lack of bigs has been known. Question is whether Cronin addresses it, ignores it, or does the Olshey thing of dumpster diving a Kanter, Whiteside, Cousins, etc.

Washington's lead came early you knew there was a shot if we got it together. Usually portland is yhe one blowing leads, interesting turn of events..

Blazers are back in their dominate mode, winners of 5 of their last 6, very nice to see after a very rough stretch before that where they lost 8 of their last 10.

The west looks completely wide open if we start playing well come the playoffs I could see this team make some noise. If Dame is healthy we have a shot at upsetting a better team. **** with how close the standings are even a 4th or 5th seed placement by the end of the season is not out of the question at all.

This team is as reassuringly convincing on the road as they are hopelessly disappointing at home.
