I have a feeling that team wants to turn some heads in the playoffs so they want to come in firing on all cylinders. If they get easily dealt with in the playoffs it will put a huge damper on their season.

Of course. I’m really rooting for them. I would love a Kings/Grizz match where they just knock their teeth out.

Also, for all the absolutely god awful trades and drafts the Kings had over the last almost two decades, I have to give them so much credit for the Haliburton trade. Had that been Olshey (or Cronin), he would have spent the next 6 years trying to make Haliburton and Fox work together. The Kings capitalized on a young player with a ton of value, but was an awkward fit, vs just trying to make that awkward fit work. It’s exactly what I wanted Portland to do with Simons last year vs resign him and try to do a Simons / Dame pairing work.

Looks like Orlando beat Washington, allowing the Blazers the 5th slot in the draft. WhooT!
