This guy has played well, are we thinking he could be the LONG awaited backup PG we need?

I mean, its been 3 games. Enough to warrant a training camp spot but not nearly enough to pencil a guy as the backup PG.
I do like him though. But its worth noting that in 29 G-League games the past year he was a 28% 3PT shooter. Good chances he is just on a heater.
But give him a TC invite.

Yeah, just so desperate for YEARS to get Dame and this team a solid backup PG that can run an offense, agree need more time but like what I see "so far"

Since it would cost the team nothing to bring him into training camp sure bring him in. Of course Portland should be looking at other available options as well.

Feel like the right type of combo guard. He can play with any other guard on the roster and fit in.

He's definitely on a hot streak right now. Dude can play anyway but it's just a too small time sample to evaluate him properly.

Wayyyyy too small of a sample size. Could be a nice little player, but not ready to give him a full-time gig as backup PG after like 3 games where the team is this bad and teams are not exactly giving their "A" effort against the Blazers.

The verdict is out but I dont care much either way. I think I'd rather have a vet regardless of where we head from here. If we go young it'd be nice to get a mentor kind of like earl Watson was, if we try for a second star getting a vet continues to make sense

I like the guy, but it's 3 games. Bring him back for summer league and if he does well, invite him to training camp.

The only player I think is worthy of continuing to have a roster spot from this tank is Sharpe. Everyone else is replaceable.

I see things a bit different, but I do like Skylar possibly as our 3rd string PG. Currently I have Keon with that job going into next season, but Skylar should be allowed to take that spot, and I think he will. Here's where I'm at for next year, with Nurkic hopefully traded and Winslow hopefully better than ever:
Dame / Simons / (Mays or Keon)
Sharpe / Thybulle
Grant / Little
Winslow / Watford / Knox
??? / Eubanks / Nurkic / Walker

If Sharpe's EOY surge pushes Ant to 6th man I'd be fine with it. We absolutely need to fix that bench. Too many project players. We should condense that to 1 project big, 1 combo forward(Walker,Knox or Watford) 1 combo guard who can guard and facilitate with decent size. Then trade the redundancy and pick up money ball type role players who impact winning.

I am find w/ a few projects like Walker, Knox and Trendon - but they should all be 3/4th string. We need reliable vets as the backups if we are in win-now. Winslow being healthy and resigned for cheap would be big, assuming we have shooters everywhere because that has Shaq range on the court.
