Please don't tell me this is true...

I would say this is far more likely Phoenix front office using a local guy to try to spread rumors to drive up the price of Ayton, since it was made pretty clear after the second round loss they're going to be shopping him and Paul.
On this one I wouldn't put much stock into it at all.

Asked the Phoenix board and they say he’s decently solid with his sources… but who knows.

Take out the 3 and I might do it but even then that's a lot of salary to pay for a moody, drop coverage center.

My source doesn't work for either team but said he hadn't heard about 3 going to Pheonix. He heard an Ant + Nurkic package and actually thinks that's an overpay. According to him 3rd has been discussed for Bridges though. Brooklyn is VERY interested in Scoot. Not so much Miller

Edit:
I was told that teams believe Dame is gettable. The leader in the club house would be Miami
Herro would go to ORL
#6 and Isaac+?+?+? to Portland
I was also told not to rule at a Grant S&T
For
Ayton
They really are looking for a big move to make a run but he thinks they probably won't find it and will pivot
Apparently Ayton and Isaac's contracts don't scare Portland if they rebuild.

Thanks for the insight. I can Scoot and Nurk for Bridges and 20 with that pick going to Chicago to settle that debt. Ideally I would try to do something larger including Simons and Little for Dinwiddie and DFS.

Miami would have to give up Bam to make me even consider a deal with them. Like us, the Heat's pick situation is muddied by owing a lottery protected pick in 24 or 25 to the Thunder.
Dame for Bam, Issac and #6 would be cool though. Sign me up. Draft Scoot at 3 and Walker at 6. Bam is still young and only entering his prime.

I'm firmly in camp rebuild. There's no way we're getting a player for the #3 that makes us a serious contender.

I'd be glad to acquire Ayton for anything aside from Sharpe or the #3. He's an upgrade at center no doubt, but not someone who would make us a contender.
Now #3 for Bridges is another matter, because we'd be getting one of the best young forwards in the league. I'd be very surprised if they gave him up though. So even if we don't become a contender or Dame demands a trade we still have a great piece.

Miami wouldn’t give up Bam in a Dame deal unfortunately. Had they flamed out in the playin, maybe they would have moved Bam to rebuild, but not now. Miami would want a big 3 of Dame, Jimmy and Bam.
I have to say tho, I absolutely Hhhhhaaaatttteee the idea of taking on Issac. That would be colossally stupid.

It seems like Charlotte might take Scoot now. Is the drop off from 2 to 3 as steep as others are saying or is that just BS to hide intentions for the draft?

Also, I'm firmly in the camp that if it does come down to a Dame trade, I think Miami is his most likely destination. He fits in best there and they have the best assets to get something done imo, either straight across or multiteam. But again, HATE the idea of Issac.

Pretty much everything you read or hear from now until draft time is either 100% false or 'spoonful of truth, shovel full of $#%!'...
