Free Agency 2023 - Blazers and around the league.

It's early Thursday morning. Free agency officially kicks off at 3PM PST tomorrow on 6/30, which is Friday.
We've got some unconfirmed rumors floating around of Draymond having had dinner with Dame here in Portland at one point. But we don't know for certain if those are true. And honestly it's probably just a personal meetup if anything and he's undoubtedly going back to the Warriors no matter who else is interested.
We have Grant as an FA.
We extended the QO to Thybulle - yay!
We didn't extend the QO to Reddish - phew.
Eubanks is an FA I think, which he's more a third string guy so nothing big there but do appreciate his energy.
Not a lot of teams with cap space this summer.
New CBA in effect, which i'm sure Wiz will educate us all on.
So let's keep 2023 free agency to this thread, whether rumors or signings from other teams. Feel free to make a new thread for any signings we make officially.

Would you be happy with Prince on the MLE?

The free-agent crop is pretty thin this year.
Paul Reed interests me as a PF/C but he's only slightly better than Eubanks.
Prince shoots a good percentage but its hard to see a role for him.
ie, my expectations for free-agency are pretty low. Trades, on the other hand, offer a lot more excitement.

I parrot it alot, but we can do much worse than Eubanks as a backup C - the issue is our starter is so limited and arguably unplayable the majority of the time in the playoffs.
Really dont see much in the way of FA's for Portland - maybe some deep bench vets but thats about it.
Prince is nice, but our roster is going to be too expensive to pay the MLE for a backup forward. A team with a higher talent level in the starting lineup could use him as their 5th starter IMO.

I’d love to get some new rumors in the mix to get things moving again. It’s been pretty stagnant and repetitive. June and July are very tough sports months. Sigh.

It'd be fine. When I saw he was let go, my first thought was, that would be the most "Blazers" pick up ever. So I fully expect him to be a Blazer.

Would the Blazers be better off using their GP2 TPE as opposed to their full MLE on a mediocre crop
of free agents?

I seriously doubt the Blazers use their full-MLE. That would hard-cap then, again, and probably mean they couldn't use the TPE
probably be better off using the tax-MLE

No.
Prince is a minimum contract (or close to) type player.

I know a lot will not like this idea, but I'd love getting Wright + Gallo from Washington. Trade Little for Gallo & take Wright into the TPE.
This would mandate Ant be traded. Ideally for DDR (Ant + Keon + Walker for DDR + PDX pick back).

I would perceive the better players like Harden would still get paid but guys like Josh Hart
are opting in their deals.
It's going to be an interesting free agent market starting on Sunday

I think Blazers trade Ant for big man help - maybe trade future draft capital for win now pieces as well, not seeing huge free agent activity on our end.

The Harden pickup and into a trade is interesting. I'm trying to think of any contenders that have the capspace to absorb him or partially absorb him.
Because I can't see Philly accepting a junk offer back. And I wonder what this means for them moving forward.

The Lakers are letting Mo Bamba walk. That seems like a flier worth taking for us.

I think Scoot is the untouchable player on the roster

we need to free up our pick from CHI to trade picks, that will cost
