the new CBA starts Friday. It is already forcing high spending teams to scramble. The 2nd Apron has some teams running scared. Here's a video talking about the demise of super-team and the impact of the 2nd apron:

we've already seen the Warriors dump Jordan Poole. The Clippers just declined the option on Eric Gordon and are reportedy shopping Norm Powell aggressively...with little success so far. Jordan Clarkson just opted into his 14M option

that really doesn't bode well for Portland's ability to use Simons in a trade. Jake Fisher said a couple of days ago that nobody is calling Portland asking about Ant. That doesn't mean there is no market for him, but is sure seems to indicate the market would be very limited, if it did exist

How amusing it is to read Blazer's Edge which keeps trumpeting Portland's #1 priority is to
instantaneously sign Jerami Grant to a new contract rumored to be the $150 Million/5 deal
that has been bantered about, since he turned down $112/4.

I bet grant would net around 4 years 90 on the open market. Feels like we are bidding against ourselves on jerami potentially..

Guys are opting in on their deals which suggests Sunday (July 1) might be a bloody day
with the new CBA coming into place.

Makes me wonder if the market for non elite guys like Grant will just disappear over night
for I'd be fine with signing Grant for $90 million/4
