We could trade him almost anywhere. He's a poor man's Jrue, on a decent contract, only 2 years left. Let the bidding commence.

Brogdon to Philly or Chicago? Maybe we can get our pick back?

Is brogdon valuable as an asset? I just don't know a ton about him

Williams may be an injury waiting to happen but he's cheap for 3 years so worst case we stretch him

He just won 6th man of the year, so he's gotta be worth something.

He should be able to fetch a first somewhere. Blazers are so pick rich now tho, I don’t really care about the Blazers getting their own pick back from Chicago.

If the Blazers can get another pick out of Brogdon, it will be another W.

I care for the sake of not losing the 2028 swap right with the bucks

It would be amusing if Portland traded Brogdon to the Heat for Lowry and a FRP

Damn not bad at all. Would be nice if he turned into a first and expiring

How would that work? Would they get the swap decision? I’m not up on those CBA rules.

The agreement was made based upon portlands pick so if portlands pick lands outside of the lotto Between now and 2028 Chicago gains the earliest 1st that occurs per the agreement made via olshey in the Nance Jr trade. After 2028 it becomes a 2nd rounder. We can't substitute this pick with another it has to be portland's according to the cba as that is what was agreed upon.
The Blazers own swap rights with the bucks in 2028 but that obligation to Chicago would have to be extinguished first in order for that swap right to occur with the bucks in 2028.

I'd like to see Malcolm traded to the Spurs for Collins and a 1st. The Spurs are probably going to be a lotto team this year.
They can outright absorb some of his contract. Collins would give us a legit PF, and allow Grant to slide over to SF. We're no longer a small team! In fact, we'd be one of the bigger teams in the league.

It seems Cronin is not the only one among the PDX nation who got a trade bug, huh?
Anyway, I'm sure Brogdon will get traded if the right deal pops up. He obviously isn't a great fit on this rebuilding team.

I think based on his injury concerns a realistic expectations is either a heavily protected first or a couple seconds. Which if attached to an expiring is perfectly fine with me.

Heard a rumor rockets were interested, hoping for KPJ waived and Cam Whitmore. Feeling a little thin at SF now and Cam looked good in summer league

Would Brogdon for Lonzo's contract and our first rounder back be a fair deal on both sides?

What’s the story with Brogdon’s injury again? He won the 6th man award last year, right?
I’m with you, that’s around all I’m expecting in return as well however.

I would hope for more. I don’t really feel like doing Chicago a favor for that pick debt anymore.
I think it’ll naturally convey eventually. I’m hoping this team isn’t going to be in the lottery as long as we think (hopefully).
Maybe if the warriors have a great season and their pick is in the 20s, Portland can negotiate to send that to Chicago.
