Derozan to ORL (then trade for Simons)
Hartenstein to OKC
KCP back to DEN
Valenciunas to LAL

i honestly think gs keeps klay but who knows.

George to philly seems quite likely unless la signs and trades him to another eastern conference team

I have a feeling Klay will be back in the Bay with an over pay though.
I hate anyone decent going to LAL though. Valenciunas would really solidify their big men. Then they have the dlo trade asset.

Whatever else happens ,I think Portland will be mostly quiet this off season for they have
already made their move to get under the tax line. Team will be better but not so much
better that could cause their pick to be conveyed to Chicago in what appears to be a
solid 2025 draft.

I am not so sure POR will not get involved, I think any trade that Portland will be involved in will be after this wave of initial signings, look to see who are the teams that have lost players\still looking for talented veterans. That is where I could see a trade for someone like Grant\Simons\Thybulle maybe Williams

I wonder, if GS loses Klay (likely), misses out on George (also likely) Would a Grant for two first round picks & TJD make sense?

Also, I posted this elsewhere, but if Orlando loses out on George, also likely, I could see them pivoting to DeRozan for less years/money, and then looking to do a trade with Portland for Simons that would be a pretty good upgrade for ORL, getting both of those players

Talks with LAL for Grant, have to believe 29’ pick & choice of:
either rights to Knecht
31’ 1st
2 pick swaps 26’ & 28’

Has to be the core of the deal + some combination of filler: Rui, Vincent, Dlo, maybe another player from POR heads to LAL (Thybulle or Williams?)

2 firsts please, I don't need any of that other stuff even that's a good flip. I kinda doubt they pay that much though

i would take DLO the expiring not the player + knecht + 2 1st.
then try to move DLO AND simons (not together)
maybe DLO back to nets and SIMONS to magic for a cpl young small contracts and some picks.

Another first is worth more than knect imo. Even if we don't use it it's a super valuable addition to a treasure chest of trade chips hopefully

Motivation for the Lakers would have to be to send out enough salary for them to both
add Grant and use their full MLE to add another player.

One would have to think if Portland is going to ask for Knecht, it will be mostly filler going to
Portland for Grant. Portland might prefer to add a second player from Portland if that gives
them a protected FRP

agree, they really need more of a PG, maybe they got something else cookin in a trade

CP3 to the Spurs
