Does Billups roll out the same starting lineup?
I would wager he does.
Do the “vets” actually, give some semblance of an effort tonight?
Probably, for a quarter or 2
Do I feel bad for young guys like Deni, Clingan & Scoot who have to sit on the bench, watching veteran players start ahead of them who give little to no effort?
Absolutely

Does Sharpe give any effort because he's now in the starting lineup, or continue to cruise like he's owed something?
Do we win or lose based solely on how Ant/Grant/Sharpe three point shots are falling?

Ayton questionable tonight
Trail Blazers PR (@TrailBlazersPR)
INJURY UPDATE: Deandre Ayton (R Index Finger Sprain) is QUESTIONABLE for tonight’s game vs. MIN.
Isn't it a little early to fake injuries\go into tank mode?
Did he sleep well thru the pain last night?
I will say, I don't blame him for that game vs MEM, as much as I do Simons....................................................................
Grant, Banton or Billups....

How does Billups still have his job after almost historic losses? IMO this team has some talent, if we had a real coach it could be a fun team to watch.

I get the feeling he's on his way out soon. Feels like even people on the fence have finally flipped firmly to the fire Chauncey camp

Same starting lineup sans Ayton
Simons’ misses a 3 and then plays horrible transition defense. then leaves game shortly after
Sharpe’s play is not impressing, resembles Banton too
No Ant\Ayton & team looks competitive, coincidence?
RW3 making a difference, yeah, he if stays healthy. he is getting a 1st round pick in return. He just has a positive impact when he is in the game. Just stay healthy
Deni with a 3! Good to see
Ant\Ayton not playing & the team looks competitive, coincidence?

Sharpe is just too hot/cold to be considered a #1, at least so far
Deni as point forward, nice look to RW3, and then would’ve been back to back, but he was fouled, and then a 3rd time!!! That is how you use Deni
RW3 again!!! Are doubters sure, that if he stays healthy, he won’t get a good return?
Sharpe finally showing some signs of life
Ant done for the night, likely for a while? Or at least until he gets traded? One can hope
Simons diagnosed with a chest injury, not surprising since he lacks heart
Banton 13 & 4 AST 4-4 from 3pt. but I would not be fooled, he will come down to earth he always does.

RW3 to lockeroom with an apparent injury? Let’s hope it’s nothing serious.
EDUT: Or Danny Marang was wrong, wouldn’t be the first or 50th time

Man, these comments are all over the place.
I'm giving Sharpe some grace here, still getting back in game shape after a injury that's sidelined him for 2 months. Essentially missed all camp, preseason and the first 10% of the season. What has me more worried about Sharpe at this point in his career his is injury history... it's starting to become a pattern that he's not a reliable player from a health perspective.
Which gets us to TimeLord... No one has ever questioned the skill, I think the return for him is still up in the air. Need to see if he's still healthy by January before any kind of return is possible, but even then, I expect many teams to be hedging their bets... however if a vet team that is stacked with FRPs burning a hole in their pockets gets antsy for a big for a playoff run... I don't think that's out of the question. He'd be a perfect fit in OKC or the Lakers...
Simons... I'm very much ready for him to be elsewhere. If this team were better and he was a 6th man, I wouldn't care, but taking over the starting role from Scoot just makes no sense for where this team is.
The priorities of changes I want on this team right now are in this order:
Billups, you first, please leave.
Simons, you as well my guy, thanks for everything.
Ayton, it's not you bud, it's me, and I think it's time we see other players.
Grant, peace my guy.

They’re just stream of conscious as I watch the game, I feel that’s the best way to do it
I hear you in RW3, but IMO it has always been if he can show some semblance of health, teams will take the risk, because his impact on the game is significant enough to warrant it

It's too bad TL can't stay healthy, he's a smooth player who would be a great lead by example sort of player

I'm not sure how much of it is coincidence, but they have actually been watchable tonight with no Ayton/Simons.
I want to see more of Scoot playing with RWIII.

Absolutely zero coincidence. Ant is checked out and should be dealt for an old sock as long as it isn't a worse contract

We're shooting 66% from 3 somehow...
Timelord having himself a game! In 20 minutes, he has 17/9/3/2/3

Scoot to Clingan for slam, that should be a common play
Back to back 3’s by Sharpe\Scoot. Wow, young guys can play, who knew?
RW3 back and has follow up dunk, then Grant to RW3 for easy bucket. The price is only going up.
Camara hitting 3’s tonight (3 so far), let’s hope the trend continues
Scoot nice take to the hoop
Still not a fan of Deni coming off the bench
Another nice take by Scoot
Deni, another 3!! Then drive & draws a foul
RW3 nice block, POR up by 17
POR is going to have to put Simons/Ayton back in the 4Q so they can secure the loss
Avdija another 3 to end 3Q, returning to the mean
