Scoot is just miles behind Banton and Sharpe in terms of feel for the game. Sure he's young...but that's concerning coming from a PG. Right now his lack of ability to shoot is holding him back and changing everything for him in the paint.

Timelord is soooo good at short PnR. I hope he teaches Clingan how to carve out that space.

Clinger didn’t get injured right? Just TL playing great?

I don't think so, no. When healthy TL is head and shoulders the best C on the team.

Nice to see Sharpe playing pretty consistently. Some nice contributions from the wings as a whole. I don't expect Banton to play at this level forever, but I'm a fan. I'd love to see him stick around.

Honestly, I'd be happy to never see Simons or Ayton play another game as a Blazer.

The Blazers would wait till the best draft of the decade to blow the tank idea up

TL is such an amazing mentor for Clingan. Love that combo. Still would cash out of Rob at deadline if a good deal is on the table, but happy to have him in the roster. Such a good dude and smart player.

Also agree. I don’t ever need to see Simons and Ayton play for the team again. Trade them for literally anything. This is the team I wanted to start the season to start the season and I haven’t had anything to make me feel otherwise.

Lets not too carried away with the merits of the 2025 draft for there is nobody on the level of Victor any time soon

Cooper flagg is pretty dang good and the top 5 are pretty good collectively

2025 is shaping up to be deeper than 23. There’s a very clear #1 team with probably the closest thing we’ve seen to Luka since Luka. On top of that, you have a great 1-6. Which makes it stronger than 23 which had its first major dropoff at pick 4.

Speaking of the 23 draft, I’m somewhat surprised that no player from that draft is having an eye popping sophomore season. I expected, particularly Miller, to be lights out to start this season for Charlotte. The numbers will still get there I’m sure, but overall surprised for how slow of a start.

I’m not as high on the ‘25 draft as some, although I haven’t really begun my dive.

Flagg, Bailey and Harper will be good players. The rest of the projected Top 10 I’m pretty “meh” on. I don’t think it’s going to be as deep as some pundits seem to believe.

I really like AJ Dybantsa in the ‘26.

As for ‘23, I wasn’t a Brandon Miller fan…and I’m still not. The feet are still a mess, and that ruins his off the dribble game and leads to inconsistency.
I think his ceiling is as a 3rd best player on a good team.

The real question is how good this team really is they are in the midst of a 3-0 wining streak and have looked to be pretty damn competitive. **** if you told me 14 games into the season the Blazers would have more wins than the Bucks I would have called you crazy.

Sharpe also is starting to show how good he can be, back to back great games from him.

I’m trying to not get too upset about these wins. With the lottery, you just never know how that’s gonna shake out. I tend to just trust the basketball gods with that one. Just put a good group of people out on the court who give a damn, but might not have the talent, but they’re trying and learning and playing with joy. Do that, let the W/L fall where they will and see what the ping pong balls do. To me, that’s tanking the right way.

Blame Ayton and Simons for being out during these last 3 games for ruining the tank recently. It's unleashing some of the young guys and their potential.

Even the worst teams in the NBA only have a 14% chance at most for that #1 pick that means you have a 86% chance of it not ending how you want it even if this year ends in complete disaster as far as wins go. You get way better odds of winning big in Vegas putting $20k on black or something.
