With both Scoot and Simons out I wonder who gets the start at PG? I would go with Deni personally but imagine Chauncey goes with Banton.

Refs are calling this game kinda weird. They aren't allowing any physicality from the Blazer Centers but allowing it from Houston's. There isn't much of a FT disaparity, but it feels like there should be.

Houston isn't a good 3pt shooting team, but are at 40+%. Blazers have to stick around until they cool off...

Deni looks good as a primary distributor, by far the player who has looked best tonight so far

Looking like an “off” night for Sharpe tonight & his defense has been poor. Vecenie pointed out Shaedon’s sub par D in a breakdown of Shaedon a few days ago, that deficiency is showing up tonight

Banton returning back to mean tonight, a guy with his poor 3pt history should not have free reign to take them

Clingan with 3 quick fouls, these types of games are expected though have been infrequent so far which is a good sign

Simons is just way out of synch. He is better than this. A change of scenery is definitely needed. If he is here after the trade deadline then Cronin is a fool, but then again he should have dealt him away already

Just keep RW3 healthy

Banton isn't that good of a player, has 2 good games and Chauncey and everyone thinks he's amazing, he's a flash in the pan and not worth our developmental energy being on an expiring contract imo.

The ant part of the equation depends on the return. I dont want a longer dead weight contract without an asset attached. At this point an equal contract or salary dump would suffice maybe. I dont see there being a great return given recent performance

Well at least someone on the coaching staff had the bright idea to have Deni initiate the offense instead of Banton.

Sometimes it's just not your night...that being said, this fourth quarter will be very telling. Do Blazers try and lower the point differential, or just play a bunch of 3rd stringers?

Well Taze Moore is in, as is Walker & Rupert

This game, like the game against OKC exposed the Blazer offense. There is little to no off-ball screening happening in the offense so against guard heavy teams the Blazers can't get advantages with this "pass around the perimeter" offense--result is a huge lack of North/South movement from the team. No cutting whatsoever...

Just looking at the standings and only 4 teams in the Eastern Conference have a .500 or better record. That seems a lot worse than normal. There are 12 teams in the Western Conference with a .500 or better record. Crazy!!!
