Clingan looks winded already. Quickness advantage of RWIII over DC pretty apparent...

Clingan's screens within the flow of the offense look MILES better than they did to begin the year. Hopefully RWIII is teaching the kid...

Simons rips a rebound away from Nurkić, don’t miss the “Bosnian beast” at all

Great pass by Tyus Jones around DC

POR ice cold shooting

Tough screen by DC there to free up Simons

DC needs to work on his post up game, he has to show at at least some offense there, right in the post against Nurkic tries to make a pass instead of doing what he should’ve done, take the shot

POR 2-10 from 3pt so far, this seems so familiar

Banton has been keeping the ball moving on offense, rather than just playing with blinders on (trying to score), that is an improvement

Good take by Scoot there, couldn’t finish, a reoccurring theme, but the move was good and he got into the paint with ease

If the Suns keep hitting 3pt shots at this rate, it is going to be a long night for POR.

Portland 6-11 from 2
4-17 from 3

Maybe take it inside a little more.

The difference between Coach Bud's offensive movement and Billups' offensive movement is staggering. KD 1:1s not withstanding...

Suns' ability to maintain spacing is great. Blazers just waste way too much early shotclock exchanging the ball above the 3pt line. Scoot, Sharpe, and Delano need to be more decisive getting into the paint. All 3 can do it.

As if on cue from my post the Blazers doing a much better job in this 2nd quarter of operating from early penetration into the paint vs. everything from the perimeter with 6 on the shot clock.

Bad miss by Banton there, 3pt % slowly descending towards his norm (career) avg, the last few games

There you go Shaedon, hits a mid range 2pt & is fouled. He needs to do that (get into the key) more often instead of settle for 3pt shots

2 good passes by Banton into DC, both end up as easy scores, then a third but DC can’t finish, then a 4th and DC does finish

Bad pass by Banton there

Nice finish by RW3 there

I think that Camara gets that call when his defensive reputation is more well known

Why does it just feel like PHX is just toying with POR?

Another flush by RW3, good pass by Scoot

Steal and flush by Sharpe, timeout by PHX. Cannot imagine that Budenholzer is very happy right now by their lackadaisical play.

Booker hits a nice mid range shot, Sharpe on the other end takes a 3pt shot that misses, he settles for way too many of those

Nice steal by Camara there

Toumani with the rebound & dunk. Just a player who’s always active on both sides of the floor

Simon loses the handle on the ball there and just watches it, Phoenix picks it up. I don’t understand why you just don’t pick it up, accept the double dribble so you can set the defense instead of giving up a fast break foul (and points) to Booker

Banton hurt, nasty fall

Nice pass by Scoot to Avdija, but he can’t finish

Walker should not be taking 3pt shots

Deni nice 3 from the corner

lol, DC disgusted by that call or was it Nurkic’s wild shot that went in?

Deni is just a load when he’s driving to the hoop, did a good job not extending his arm there to avoid getting the offensive foul

DC picks up his 5th, he has looked a little sloppy tonight

Bad miss by Simons there, POR now down by 10

That looked like an acting job by Allen there, POR challenging

Sharpe is 4/13, 1/8 from 3pt, so 3/5 on 2pt. Does no one on this coaching staff have the sense\courage to tell him to stop taking so many of those?

Sharpe makes a drive into the lane, sees Nurkic waiting and bales, throwing a wild pass out to the perimeter, it’s like he gets blocked once and then he’s like, nope don’t wanna do that again

PHX starting to pull away

I agree with the announcers, Simons didn’t wrap him up/foul him hard enough to get a call there

Scoot with 2pts 1 REB 4 AST (1 TO) 0-4 from field in 19min

An unimpressive stat line, for a pretty unimpressive game, he had moments where he had some nice plays, but I think the way he’s been utilized by to date has totally screwed up his confidence, he just looks like he’s out of sync and he has no confidence

Whether he turns into a decent NBA player or not, it is becoming more clear that it is going to take a few more years before that manifests, if it does

I still think it has a lot to do with the roster composition of this team, him coming off the bench, not having the ball in his hands a lot, being yin/yanged in and out of the lineup, clearly doesn’t seem to be receiving any kind of feedback to try and help him work through it, or is and he’s just ignoring it, I find that harder to believe than the former, but it’s possible, but whatever it is, it’s not good

The only thing Deni needs to add to his repertoire is KD's midrange.
And maybe one of his moves.
Or a dozen of those.
