Why Billups , why
would you challenge that? Less than 1min into the game, even if you win it? And it was a jump ball not even like guaranteed possession for PHI. That is what dumb coaches do.

Scoot with the aggressive drives so far, also drawing fouls. If he can start to finish on some of these drives, he is gonna be just fine.

DC just leveled a guy there on that screen, man a little while later, he picks up the offensive foul and now he’s out

I like Deni’s aggressiveness, but he’s gotta let the game come to him. It seems like he’s trying to force too much tonight and when he does that, it ends up in a TO more often than not.

Yabusele with the poster on Deni, but I love the effort/intensity that Deni gave challenging that

Love Camara‘s defensive intensity, but his 3pt shooting & offense has to improve in order for him to be a legitimate starter, instead of a super sub off the bench

As others have said, good for the tank, and it allows Cronin to not to make any moves in order to insure they are among the bottom dwellers, now that is depressing

Honestly, I would rather see them send Billups on his way, trade the vets for whatever they can get and just go with the young guys and let the losses pile up organically, but, instead we get this

It may be good for the tank but my worry is that it sets back development of the young players.

I would also be willing to trade the vets even if we don't get full value for them( though I want some value) simply so we can see what the youngsters are capable of so that we can decide what moves need to be made in the future.
Scoot in particular I would like to see how he does under a different coach ( can anyone find out Scoot's numbers when Billups is out?).

Expecting 1st triple double from Deni (PTS/Reb/TO).

DA is like 60% effort on the offensive end, and like 5% effort on the defense end

Embiid really has some nice moves, good footwork

Deni starting 2nd half off like he did in the 1st, with another TO that is #8. What do they call a triple double when one of the doubles is not one you want to get?

That’s one of the first times I’ve seen Sharpe talk back to a ref after a bad call, think that might’ve fired him up a little, really nice behind the back move there

OTOH, Scoot 6AST/2TO, also has two steals. Just don’t ask me about any of his other stats

Chauncey is just so damned cringe…Laughing it up with opposing players while his team is down 20, meanwhile playing his stupid no-offense twin towers lineup.

Just get this fool out of here already. He doesn’t wanna be here and nobody wants him here either. The team will do plenty of losing, no matter who the coach is, on lack of talent.

The positives? Despite his low scoring night, Scoot seems to have turned a tiny corner in the past 3 games on both sides of the ball. Sharpe is embracing his mid-range (great) but taking too many OTD 3pters (not great). Whomever the coach is, needs to prioritize getting Sharpe in C&S possessions.

Lastly, Sixers obviously are aware of Deni’s tendencies. They came prepared for his DHOs…I think that’s the first time we’ve seen a team prep for that this season. Deni will be on the scout now, so HE will be the one to have to adjust, since Billups isn’t going to do piss to counter it. He’ll just keep rolling out the same old milquetoast, playing his vets too many minutes, and yukking it up with whomever is in the vicinity in huge losses.
