Deni starts things off with a 3

Curious to watch the Simons versus Andre Jackson Jr matchup, he’s a pretty decent defender

Camara, a bulldog around the basket gets the rebound and dunk

MIL starting off cold

Giannis going to the basket = unstoppable

Sharpe’s first 3 is in, could be a good sign?

That mid range J by Ayton doesn’t look so good when he has a hand in his face

That was a good pass by Scoot to Murray, who didn’t make the basket but Scoot got the rebound and the put back

Camara with the and 1

Another good pass by Scoot, easy bucket by Murray

TO by Scoot because Ayton stopped rolling to the basket, feel like I’ve seen this before

Scoot hits a 3, later misses a mid range J, but I think he needs to take those more

Dame with a 3 to end the 1Q, I think I’ve seen this movie before

Another pass by Scoot, but Murray mis-handles it

Great pass by Scoot on that drive for an easy DC lay in

AJ Green with his 4th 3, make that 5

How much of a load is Giannis? He just drove down the lane and pushed DC back about 5ft.

Is Middleton even playing tonight?

DC blocks Giannis jump shot, yes Giannis he is a little bigger, has a little more reach than you think he does

Finally, Blazers broadcasting talks about Sharpe’s shooting in mid range/2pt, anybody who has watched a game has already seen\known that for a long time now

Seriously Ayton? $35 mil/yr to watch you dribble around oblivious to what the shock clock is at? Unbelievable.

Ayton has to be one of the most lackadaisical players I’ve ever watched play, you would think he was playing at the YMCA and the game didn’t matter

Camara, leading scorer at half with 13 & 5 (all offensive boards)
Deni, 12 & 7

Scoot has 3 AST & 2 TO, should probably have like 7 AST & 0 TO

Man, Sharpe has some bad 3pt misses

Tough take by Sharpe there

Simons heating up from 3, 2nd so far in 2nd half

Good pass by Deni to Ayton for easy dunk, POR up by 9

MIL outside of Dame, Giannis, Green look unimpressive

MIL in feeding Giannis mode

Dame looks off tonight, 3/11

Sharpe no look pass to nowhere

Scoot coast-to-coast, then nice pass to DC, who was fouled, great job, pushing the pace

4Q

Why no RW3, again?

Good pass Deni to DC

Deni another 3, 3-7

Big rebound by Sharpe, fouled on the put back, missed both FT though

AJ Green 7 3’s

Sharpe back to back buckets, POR up by 4

lol, according to that whacky stat, pts in the clutch, Sharpe is #4, Simons #7, yet POR is 11-22

Cronin brought that up earlier in his 1v1 with Colabro. I think POR is too deep in the analytics to process reality

Sharpe should have drive for 2 there instead and of taking that 3, 2-7 from 3pt

Another dumb challenge by Billups, they were not going to reverse a call vs Giannis unless it was blatantly obvious, which it clearly wasn’t

Simons and 1, POR up by 1

Bad TO by Dame there, surprised he was looking to pass, uncharacteristically passive play by him

Dumb win, this is the type of win that causes Cronin to probably think that Simons is “the guy”, which he clearly is not

This team is run by idiots

It doesn't matter if Cronin thinks Simons is the man for he's not to re-sign unless they are
stupid enough to max him out.

Both he and Ayton might be attractive this summer as large expiring contracts .

I don’t trust Cronin at all, especially when he is spouting off how Simons is one of the best clutch players in the NBA. I would not put it past Joe at all to overpay him

It would be right on message for Joe to pay a crap ton of money to a player that can’t even lead his team to a .500 record

and Scoot who is playing better and better sits in these key minutes when he could get invaluable experience, makes no sense

I like beating Lillard…

But what a stupid, stupid win. Proves nothing, gains nothing. Cronin not dealing the vets when it was appropriate is setting the franchise back by years. Instead of a ten year drop it’ll probably be 15+.

I think it's kind of funny how the clutch play of Simons is what won the game after you said that.

This is a terrible win.

Playing vets with no future big minutes to notch a meaningless victory that only hurts lotto chances.

Billups must go.

Yeah, you’re right. He’s the greatest clutch player of all time.

I am sure he’s going to lead us to a championship right after he gets us over .500……someday
