Deni just seems to be getting better and better as the season goes on, you can see the confidence

I’m ready to eat crow on Deni, but he needs to be a starter vs coming off the bench.

Also, now that we know he’s legit, can he sit for the rest of the year so he stops helping the Blazers win games?

Simons playing within the flow again and looks good - increase that trade value. It seems to me Simons with Grant do not work well, Simons without Grant looks ok, given how well Tou and Deni seem to play together Grant really needs to go. I'd still like to trade Simons if we get a solid return, don't give him away. He's actually fts well with Pistons, especially with Ivey out and they can use shooting

My G-D Ayton is a terrible PnR defender. How is it possible to have been playing organized basketball for this many years and not be able to make simple reads on a PnR?

And again, the Cade/Duren PnR just eats Ayton alive. SMH...

I will say, Deni, impressive 1st half, Simons (see Shem?) impressive and against DET a team rumored with some level of interest in him

Sharpe looks good as well

Cunningham looks....like a #1 franchise player, POR still needs that desperately

I really want Clingan to work on his low post offense during the off-season. He will never be a major scoring threat but I would like him to have some offense since most of the time he will be one of the biggest if not the biggest players on the floor. I also would like him to work on his free throw shooting for the same reason.

I don't want the Blazers to win...but the officials are really calling this one way.

Again, Ayton with one of the worst positional defensive performances from a center that I've seen in a long time. I'd love to see how many points Detroit has scored off of high PnR...

Good loss. Can't wait for Ayton and Simons to be off the team. Sadly, the better they play the bigger the chance Cronin thinks they should be kept.

I keep harping on it, but it's amazing how bad the Blazers were defending the high PnR tonight.

The positives for me tonight were Sharpe, Deni and Camara. Could also throw Murray in there...

Chauncey's 8 man rotation is just dumb. He's playing to win games, which I get...but the bigger picture is development.

You're not going to win many games when the referees give you 17 more chances at free points. 5 FT attempts for the whole game is just absurd. 100% poor officiating, which is par for the course in the NBA.
