RW3 out with hand soreness. For a team that keeps saying they place high value on him, they sure are holding him out for ridiculous reasons.

POR starting off very hot, cannot believe this is sustainable though

Avdija with a quick 6pts

PHX starting this game like they don’t even care

The WC, has a lot of aging teams that are not as good as people thought they were

Too many pretenders: PHX, GS, SAC, MIN

I do think SA & DALimproved themselves however

All of a sudden Sharpe is drilling3’s, lol, he has been sub 30% for most of the year

Nice drive by Scoot for the and one

And PHX comes back from 14pts down to tie it up at end of 1Q, maybe they’re not gonna mail this game in after all

Avdija already with 14pts, he is playing with amazing confidence right now

With the new CBA, I wonder if we are going to see a lot more teams like PHX is constructed?

2–3 players who are making all the money and then a bunch of guys making mid-level to minimum contracts that they are hoping to get contributions from.

I mean right now, guys like Camara, Deni, Scoot & Sharpe, are all fine, but pretty soon they are going to have to pay these guys $20mil+, and they can only do that with so many players, especially if they are resigning guys like Simons\Ayton to $30mil+ contracts & they still have Grant on their roster. It is not sustainable, and even more concerning is that they still don’t have that star player

A guy like Toumani is great example, right now, great defensive player, still developing offensively, and at his current contract, great value, but when he signs a new contract in 2yrs @ $20-25mil? I’m not sure this team can afford that.

Both teams shooting has cooled off, PHX 3-14/POR 3-11

PHX has 10 TO, really sloppy play from them

Outside of Durant, Booker & Beal, hard to say where PHX is going to get consistent scoring from, Allen, O’Neale, Jones, Richards? Not an overly inspiring group.

Where is Ighodaro?

Avdija with 17-3-2, nice half for him

Ayton with 12-7, seems to be playing his best ball vs his old team, his problem, though, has always been waxing/waning consistency and effort

Nobody else in double figures for POR

POR FG & 3pt FG% down to 33%

Booker\Durant\Beal all over 10pts, no other PHX player has more than 6pts

Maybe they don't want him to get hurt before Thursday.

Durant is a great player, but he sure seems to be a far cry from what he was in his prime

Ayton with a bad 3pt attempt, stop it Deandre

Ayton playing with effort, acting like we haven’t witnessed his lazy ways for the majority of the year

Richards, who has played pretty well this year, looks overmatched against Ayton.

I’m surprised that PHX hasn’t played Nurkić just to see how a bigger body would do against Ayton?

When PHX eventually trades Booker, they should get a nice haul for him

Avdija looks like he’s gonna go for 30 tonight

Deni has really been a revelation this year, my only concern is that he would’ve been a great acquisition if POR already had that star player, but by acquiring him too early, it could cause them to miss out on that player, and of course, resigning him is going to be complicated, I think this is what WAS had calculated when they traded him

Scoot with a nice 3, it will be interesting to see what he finishes with tonight percentage wise, however, if he can keep hitting at around a 35+% clip, teams are going to have to start taking him serious behind the 3pt line

That was a good offensive play by PHX from the top of the key there, Booker to Eubanks to Beal for an easy score

There is the Sharpe that we know, taking ill advised 3pt shots and bricking them

Scoot with a great drive into the paint hangs, absorbs, contact and finishes

Scoot just smoked Grayson Allen , and then lobbed it up for Ayton for an easy dunk, great speed & handles

PHX having to play Plumlee 17min in this game, let alone have him as a key rotational player shows how bereft of talent they are

Camara with back to back 3’s, he is 4-5 tonight, 35% for the year

Booker with a tough shot over Clingan

POR shooting better from 3pt than PHX, lol, we all know that’s not reality

Scoot has played a good game tonight, and he’s only got 19min

Simons is such a defensive liability, teams just routinely pick on him, cannot win it all with a guy like that on your team

I swear, Deni always seems to call for a challenge, POR lost this one

Camara has been unreal from 3pt tonight

Durant just stuffed Ayton at the rim

I think Deni got bailed out on that wild drive, he clearly initiated contact

Simons\Ayton & Grant are all in playing at the end of this game, like why? Meanwhile, all 3 lottery picks are sitting on the bench, what is the purpose here? This franchise is run by complete idiots.

End of 4Q, Simons blocked on 3pt attempt, when defenses can scheme for him, they can neutralize him pretty easy

Lol, Chauncey just playing the 3 vets heavy (40) minutes tonight, meanwhile, Scoot with 22, Sharpe with 19 & DC with 10

Seriously, why even draft lottery picks? might as well trade all 3 of them. I am sure they can win a championship with Simons, Ayton and Grant, lol

That was a very favorable foul call that Simons was the beneficiary of there

Three highest shot attempts for POR tonight? Ayton 22, Simons 17, Grant 12

That was a horrible attempt by Simons there

This win sums up POR entire season, a complete waste of time

Yeah, he's trying to win. That's what coaches do.
