Pretend you get to be Cronin for a day. Which Blazers currently on the roster would you like to see traded? Obviously I can’t include who the returning players or assets would be, so let’s just focus on which players you’d like to see traded.

I’ve included the top 9 guys by minutes per game, so if there’s another player you’d like to see traded, you can add that in the comments.

Really just want to see some signs of life from this front office.

Simons, Grant, Ayton, Sharpe, Williams. Waffled on Deni.

Voted on the 4 usual suspects. Would add Thybulle in there as well. Don't want the risk of him picking up his deal next year

Grant would be nice to go as well, but I don't see that being realistic with his crappy season and long-term contract. If he stays, that's OK.

Williams I'm ok trading for the right price, but I agree with Cronin that I would want more than 2nd round picks. If that's not there, I would want to keep him.

I don't care what happens with Thybulle. I suspect he would require the Blazers giving up a second to move since he's been out for so long, so keep him.

As for Ayton, I'm actually going to say keep him for the rest of the year. I actively don't want to see him moved at the deadline.

Simons is the only player I really want traded this year. I want Scoot to finally be a starter and push the gas on the development faster.

I have wanted Simons traded for years. IF he gets traded, I doubt he will have much traded value. Because of his horrible contract.

Simons O is on about the same level has Cam Johnson. BUT Simons is one of the leagues worst defenders, while Cam is above average, by alot.

Cam makes $6 million less than Simons. Several teams are interested in trading for him, including the Magic.

Simons value is in the $12-16 million range, not $26 million. He is a 6th man spark plug off of the bench player. Cam is a good two way starter on a playoff team, and only makes $20 million.

Ayton, Grant, Simons, and WIlliams. Trade them all.

I, for one, am delighted that Joe Cronin graced us with his presence here and was the sole vote to stand pat!

Again, Grant is the only one that needs to be moved - even if for nothing or the Blazers include 2nds. But it has to be for an expiring.
There is no need to trade Simons or Ayton. Both are limited players with their limitations well documented. But both expire next season. Same with Timelord and Thybulle. With Grant off the books, the Blazers would have so much cap space flexibility to play with. I know the Blazers aren't a free agent destination, but other teams will be hurting with the repeater tax. Or, the core itself could be gelling and you just keep it rolling. But Grant's contract is the anchor that ruins all of this.

Is the answer to all this Taze Moore who get waived for the team to sign Sidy Cissoko?

He gets a look from the Blazers G league team but doesn't seem to be the athlete
