One game is just one game, of course, but it would be great to see our up-and-coming forwards hold their own against JT and JB.

Blazers are gonna make the playin by stint of all the good teams sitting 2-3 of their best players against Portland.

I missed the 1Q, and only saw part of the 2Q
POR has sure been the beneficiary of so much luck this stretch, CLE without Mitchell, now BOS without Tatum, PHI w/o Embid or George
man BOS takes a ridiculous amount of 3pt attempts, 31 at the half! But shooting 42%
Pritchard has really turned into a good NBA player, 6th man of the year
I like Deni’s aggressiveness, but seriously I don’t know how he doesn’t get called for more offensive fouls
Scoot with 4 fouls, Camara with 3 at the half
This could be one of those games where POR mediocre outside shooting could be trouble for them

Deni gets a rebound over White in the paint but he doesn’t go back up for a shot, instead takes it all the way back out and then drives and scores?
The BOS 3-barrage continues, now they are up by 16
Walker with his 3rd 3, lol, 4 (5!!) he shoots under 30% for the year
Pritchard 8th 3, has 31 thru 3Q
White with 28, but he is only 7-10 from 3pt, lol
Pritchard and Walker battling it out for who can hit the most 3’s, uh I think Pritchard‘s gonna win
I get fouling since you have a foul to give, but shouldn’t it have been anybody but Scoot committing that foul?

bad teams too. Both Utah and Philly were missing 4 starters although Philly was legit injuries
funny thing about Utah...they sat those 4 starters against Portland. 3 nights later brought back Collins, kessler, and Markkanen...and they beat Minny. The next game those 3 guys sat and Utah lost. Ainge is a master tanker

that was an offensive foul by Deni there, he can’t just shuck guys like that. he is not LeBron.
Now he is hurt, quad again, he’s probably done for the night, may be done for a few games
Simons has 19pts tonight, and watching you would think he has scored every time he has touched the ball (he is 9-16). He has to be one of the least impactful offensive scorers I’ve seen in a while, he scores, puts up points, seems to shoot well, yet has a negligible effect on the game?
Man, Pritchard just schooled Simons there on the drive to the hoop
When White hits shots like that, as the opposing team you know it’s not your night
Brown has a bad handle, or at least tonight he does
scoring on Simons is so easy for other teams
POR gets within 13 and BOS goes right into iso vs Simons
Then POR gets within 9, and they do the exact same thing
Pritchard & White each with 40+ & they are the 4th & 5th best players on this team?

Pritchard off the bench on that contract is what we wish Simons would be.
Boston has a perennial 6MOTY guy on a 4 year deal for like 7.5M AV. Unreal. I thought it was a trash contract, Brad is a killer.

Yep. This. Simons should be a 6th man, but that will never happen in Portland.
When White and Pritchard combine for 84 points, you know it's just not going to be your night...
I didn't particularly like the coaching in this game. It seemed like the Blazers were over helping all game long, which led to a TON of wide open 3pt shot attempts. I get that aggressive help is part of Chauncey's scheme...but at a certain point you have to say "NO MORE HELP", stay attached, and force Boston to take some 2pt shots, and hope that changes their rhythm a little bit.
I also felt like the Blazers defaulted to a slower, half-court pace, which was a mistake. They looked better when they pushed pace just slightly and made the Cs play on their heels.
Seemed like Blazers got a little bit trapped in a shootout, 2s vs. 3s, and any kind of shootout with Boston is going to be an L.

Remember when Pritchard wanted playing time and asked to get moved out of Boston, and the Blazers could have had him for two seconds? And had Boucher for the BAE? And Brooks for the MLE? And Bell on a minimum?
Everyone: Let it go, J. That team didn't even win a college championship. And that was nearly a decade ago. You're showing your age.
Good wake-up call of where this team really is. Another 25 point game for Sharpe. Combine those two and you see why continued player development is essential versus blowing the roster up every season. But Pritchard and White just put up 40 on us, so you also see just how bad the team really is against competition that takes them seriously.

The problem is... when Scoot plays the way he dis last night, I'd much rather see Simons on the floor.
