We'd have to probably finish 11-3 to make the play in and yet we are letting Ant play probably to appease him, bringing back thy for a pointless 13 games, sticking with our 8-9 man rotation and giving veterans heavy minutes. What a stupid stupid organization

Portland now has the 11th pick in the draft. They lost 3 draft slots in 2 days. PHX has a much harder schedule than the Blazers to close the year, so the Blazers will almost assuredly have the 12th pick.

The Blazers would have to make up 7 games (6 plus a tie breaker vs. Dallas) in their remaining schedule to make the play-in and also beat out PHX in the remaining games (they will--PHX plays 12 playoff teams in their final 13). That still means the Blazers have to beat at least 4 of BOS, CLE, MEM, ATL, CHI, DEN, SAC, NYK, GS, or LAL on top of the lesser teams in TOR, SAS and Utah. AND...Dallas would have to lose some serious games. That means somehow losing to purposely tanking TOR and the Nets twice.

The Blazers are going to end the year with the 12th pick in the draft, and also not make the play-in.

Washington had no plans to win this game. Poole doesn't play the 2nd half, Middleton plays just 20 minutes, and Sarr plays 22 minutes and jacks up 9 three's?

Missed this game, but did not miss anything relevant. As per usual, other teams are positioning themselves for the lottery and POR remains hell bent on attempting to make the play in still, just utter stupidity and Joe cronin deserves 100% of the blame, that guy is an imbecile...

13 games to go and POR is NINE games under .500, such a play in worthy team....

Glad to see POR is invested in developing Simons though, 17 shots in 23 minutes...so impressive :banghead:

The good news though, is that Simons may be rehabbing his value somewhat. He's now at 19.5/2.7/4.8 on the season...the last stretch of about 11 games has upped his PPG. Still, it's nowhere close to where he was at last year...although his USG is down and his offensive and defense are both slightly better.

He didn't have much value last year, I doubt that will change much. I'd love for the Blazers to get their hands on Orlando's #15 for Simons.
