Man that sucks and I hope he gets better soon.

Whats with all these blood clots? Is the technology simply growing and able to catch stuff that previously was missed? I know processed foods are seen as a potential cause - wonder if the population as a whole is more susceptible based on our diets the past 50+ years.

POR Starting off hot behind Deni & Toumani

DC very active so far

DC has to learn to dunk more

Garland came to play tonight, last time these teams met he was a non-factor (4-16, 13pts)

What was that by POR broadcasting trying to prop up Camara? Aren’t charges and offensive fouls drawn the same thing? It is like they are double counting to make him look better? There is no reason to do that.

I wonder if air travel might have an effect. Pressurized cabins and traveling back and forth across the country has to have some health effects

POR offense is nonexistent so far 3min into the 2Q

Defense outside of Thybulle is as well

Sharpe just settles for way too many 3pt shots

Scoot just blitzes by Garland, misses the shot at the rim, but DC is there to put it back in

DC having a good 1st half so far, 10-5

CLE with a lot of wild shots this quarter, POR not much better, both teams seemingly playing good defense

All of the sudden CLE is up by 11

Deni is single-handedly trying to keep POR in this game, 10-5-3, 0-4 FT though

Nice half by DC, 13-8 with 2 blk

Simons 0-4 1st half, if he is not scoring, he brings literally nothing on the floor

Scoot just makes way too many drives without a plan that almost always end up in disaster, he is young and can get better, but it has been a pretty consistent theme in his first two years in the NBA

CLE shooting 50% from FG & 3pt FG, this has been a common issue when they play better teams

Jet planes pressurize cabins and ascend and descend from great heights. We know that when deep sea diving the pressure in even pressurized submersibles can cause various health issues. I would think it is possible that something similar happens to a lesser extent in airplanes and since athletes do a lot of airline travel ( even in the off-season) even a lesser effect repeated much more often could be having a negative cumulative effect . Lillard for example has probably been on over 600 flights as an NBA player.

Merrill who will be a FA this off-season, having a nice game for CLE, 11pts, 3-5 3pt

Deni can totally play small ball center, that is why I think his best position is PF he can switch between the two when needed

Nice move by Jerome, he is going to get paid this offseason, then he hits a 3

DC with another 3, 18-9 with 3 blocks so far

POR has really benefited from some long rebounds and lucky bounces tonight

Thybulle, 4-4 from 3pt tonight, lol

Banton as your end of quarter go to scorer, is not a wise move, maybe that’s not what they drew up though?

Billups needs to pull a Raptor here and pull all starters if it’s still within 6 in the 4th.

Common 8th spot

Favorite commentator moment:
5.2 seconds left in the third, Blazers have the ball out of bounds
Lamar: "This is great opportunity with 5 seconds, as a comfort set. It lets the team run a set play."
Blazers pass the ball to Banton who puts his head down, tries to run through a defender, and gets blocked.

Sucks for Dame. Was really hoping to see one good run for Dame and Giannis. Not sure they’re even gonna get as far in the playoffs together as Dame did in Portland.

POR playing Banton way too many minutes tonight, especially given his production

Hope some other teams are watching the film of Thybulle tonight, maybe they might be able to trade him for something positive

Scoot is having himself a 2nd half, up to 16-5-6

I know he was 2-2 from 3pt, but that was not a wise shot by DC, need to work for a better shot

Oh, so Garland is pretty good

Not a good move by Deni there, trying to take it up against both Mobley and Allen

For a player who wants to win so badly, and knowing his team needs every win to end the season, Simons really laid an egg, 2-12/1-10

Bad loss for POR, considering both DAL & SAC lost as well, so no gain
