OMG, the thing I disliked the most about ET was his strange voice, lol!

Phoenix passed the Blazers for the 9th pick last night. I imagine the Blazers win this one against a team that actually knows what's good for their franchise...likely cementing the Blazers at 10th. PHX also plays OKC tonight, so bye bye possibility of #9.

The Blazers reduced their chances at a top 4 pick from 26.2% to 16.9% simply by beating the Raptors and Spurs. So I ask, WHAT did the Blazers gain from those wins?

The profiteer was Joe Cronin. The fact that Jodi/Kolde gave him a new contract on the back of fluffing his Ws with wins against tanking teams just shows you how bad they are for the long-term future of the franchise.

you probably know this but in terms of the lottery, the Suns and Blazers are even. If they end up tied, there would be a coin flip for who chooses 9th and who chooses 10th. And heading into the lottery they each have an average of the lottery odds for 9th and 10th

but overall, the Blazers seem dead set on landing on the worst posible outcomes for this season

Yeah, good point--I see a Blazers W and Phoenix L in the cards tonight, so I imagine they'll avoid the coinflip...

If POR mgmt had done the things they needed to do well before this, these last 3 games would not matter in terms of lottery position, but now it does. POR could end up at 12th, instead of 9th.

You can bet Cronin will try and play this as a "win" at the exit interviews, the team missing the play in but also tanking their draft position but this is what stupid franchises do, and they rewarded him for it, lol.

Curious to see if Camara & Sharpe play....they should not.

I don't think tanking was part of the strategy this year, at all. I find it kinda interesting that the Blazers didn't re-up Billups at the same time that they resigned Cronin. It may be that they need to time to deal with Chauncey's counter to the TO.

As for the game...looks like Sharpe's agent got him the memo that he's playing for a contract. lol

POR continues to hold out Scoot for a concussion, but plays Sharpe in meaningless games, and Camara

It is a miracle that POR is even down in this game right now to be honest, I give Sharpe some credit because he is clearly deferring to other teammates, I wonder if something was said to him?

Camara is oblivious he keeps trying to play like it’s the 7th game of a playoff series. he should not be playing in the second half, neither should Sharpe for that matter.

Why are Camara and Sharpe even playing right now?

Without Sharpe and/or Camara playing tonight this would be most likely a loss, which this team needs, and even with them they are literally tied right now with a UTA roster full of scrubs and second string players

Given all the players out, and the stakes for potential draft pick placement m, there is literally no reason to try and win this game

Take Sharpe out. The Blazers really need to lose right now because we're so close to slipping down a few slots. Give Sidy some playing time.
