This was a pretty easy loss for us to bank on, as GSW are engaged in a tough battle for playoff seeding and avoiding the play-in.PDXKnight wrote:Should be able to go 0-2 to finish out as long as gs and la don't screw us and rest the starters

Unfortunately the Lakers are beating Houston so are looking more comfortable. I'm not sure where the ties would land, but we need Denver and the Clippers to win to at least motivate the Lakers to win.
Do the Lakers need to win?zzaj wrote:Dame Lizard wrote:This was a pretty easy loss for us to bank on, as GSW are engaged in a tough battle for playoff seeding and avoiding the play-in.PDXKnight wrote:Should be able to go 0-2 to finish out as long as gs and la don't screw us and rest the starters

All the best outcomes tonight. Blazers lose, both Denver and Clips win. Chicago, Miami, and Phoenix all win.
As long as Blazers lose on Sunday to the Lakers who need to win, they’ll get the 9th pick…which still isn’t very good, but considering it could have been 13th just a few days ago? I’ll take it…

They've clinched the division so even if they lost and the Clippers and Denver won, I thought that the Lakers would still be in 3rd?

Probably still more to play for than us

He has a better chance to become a legit role player than Walker or Murray IMO - younger as well. Just nonsense that we have not given him enough shots to see what we have and now we have to decide on his contract. Then again, we did the same thing with our 3rd overall pick so Rayan getting this treatment shouldnt surprise.
These past 4 games have been trash games but Rupert has put up some numbers -
26mpg / 12ppg / 2.75rpg / 1.5apg / 1.75spg
3PT shot isnt great, but given his age and tools (Esp lenght) I would keep him around next year. Hope we let Walker walk (Just a decade or 2 too late to the league given his tweener'ness) and hope we use Kris as salary filler in a trade (Great kid, good motor, tries on defense, the shot is not ever coming).
