It's going to be easy to get back into the win column tonight...I think the Tar heels would put up a better fight.....

Any team in the NBA can beat any other team on the right night. If we don't show up, we'll be the ones putting up less of a fight than the Tar Heels. For that reason, I'm worried about this game. How much of a letdown are we going to see from the end of the streak? I'm not sure, but if I were a betting man I'd say it will be closer than we'd like it to be.

I feel good about this game. I think the guys will be mad about losing to the jazz and hopefully they come out with alot of energy. I thyink we win going away in the fourth 103-94.

i was thinking if i could be worried if the blazers would relax a little or not, but i think that the mantality is to keep winning.

i'm also pretty sure that the loss vs. utah won't mean anything in aspects such as motivation etc.

i say the blazers will win this game, no doubt about that.

This is just one game, but it'd be a really good time to make some statements.

LMA really needs to assert himself physically. With Smith and Jefferson, the Pups have some beef under the basket. I'd love to see LMA make a concerted effort to dunk the ball as much as possible. And the obvious thing he needs to focus on tonight is getting 10+ rebounds.

The Blazers as a team really need to focus on both ends of the floor. Winning is great, but I think it'll go a long way if they play a solid game.

I'm not sold on how easy this game is oging to be, but I do expect a win.

This is the type of game that will show us IMO what kind of team the Blazers are.

If they let Utah beat them twice (like Philly earlier in the year), they obviously have a lot more work to do. But if they come out, shake off the loss and look to start a new streak they'll show me at least that they are taking the next step to become a great team.

I hope we can start seeing a bit more from Martell. He's been fading a bit as of late.

If the blazers play there game I think we should get this one. I assume Nate will be back coaching? Personly I was not very happy with Deans sub patterns. :-?

Up until Utah, Portland had been winning games without really playing very well. The Seattle game was abyssmal, luckily the Sonics were worse. Philly outplayed them for 3 quarters before Portland cranked out a huge 4th. Outside of LMA's 36 points, no one else really had a good game against Utah.

Hopefully the Blazers can get back to playing a full 4 quarters of good basketaball and in the name of Buck Williams, can someone please rebound. Either that or play Joel more.

I'm hoping the Blazers blow them out and McBob gets 20 minutes/20 points because of it. I want the legend of McBob to grow and grow into a massive groundswell of McBob momentum. I want him to be so well-liked in Portland that 15 year old girls on school buses chant his name like he was a member of Menudo or N'Sync or whatever boy band is popular these days. We start winning big and mark my words--we'll enter a realm of McBob worship to match or exceed the short-lived "Dave Twardzik with a perm" whirlwind of 1979.

All hail McBob!!!
