Hello from Uganda

Post#1 » by baas9 » Sun Jan 6, 2008 3:08 pm

Hey all. My wife, baby and I landed in Uganda a few weeks ago and have been busy setting up our living arrangements here. The internet sucks here but I have been keeping tabs on our boys. Holy Cow!!! I've decided that I should never come home during the season being that we have only lost like 1 game since I've been gone.

We are going to be insanly good next season with G.O. & Rudy stepping into the lineup. It is almost unfair how good we are this year  We were supposed to be in the high lottery again and now we might make the playoffs. What a nice middle finger to all those analysts who dogged us in the preseason.

Its good to be a Blazers fan!

lol I thought this was gonna be one of those "I just inherited 100 million dollars but I need your 10,000 dollars to get it. I'll pay you 5 million once I get the 100 million" schemes

I'm jealous. I've always wanted to spend some time in East Africa, but the closest I've ever gotten is Durban. Is this a permanent relocation? If so, then I can try to go and write off the vacationas "Blazers board evangelism" :D

That's what I'm thinking :D

Well, that and a good bottle of scotch and I can bribe the president. I've seen "Hotel Rwanda" a bunch of times, and if there's anything that movie has taught me good brown liquor goes a long way in Africa
