Even though I like to pretend that Pippen never played in Portland, I thought you guys might be interested in this.

Hard to judge anything based on a mix like this, but I was impressed by the block and dunk. He looks like he's in good physical shape.

Hard to say, but if his bball IQ and floor leadership are any indication, then he'd be a hell of a coach.

But his surlieness, selfishness and arrogance would prohibit him being a good coach. Seriously, he's flat ass broke and all of a sudden wants to coach? Please. He's looking for a hand out, he doesn't want to coach. I wouldn't bring him on.

Either he wasn't trying that hard, or he has lost a ton of his former explosiveness. He was lucky on that block because he essentially got it before the ball got to rim height.

I love Pip and mean no disrespect in this, but Petteri's team let Pippen get that dunk. If Koponen plays that kind of defense here, he won't see PT anytime soon.

Also, it's sorry to see Pip in so much debt. I remember reading that he lost a lot of money after he sold his house in Portland for well under its market value.

Watching him play now makes me sad.

wow... i didn't know he had money issues... that sucks...

Wow, I didn't realize he had money troubles either. It's crazy to me that someone with his pedigree can't get a job as an assistant or even a commentator. Those jobs may not solve his money issues, but you have to start somewhere.

Or he's looking for them.

I'd love to know if Pip and Koponen spoke about Portland. Also, does anyone know Kopo's line for that game?

How the hell can a professional BBall player go broke? He must really love his hookers and coke.
