enjoyable read, I like to hear that Nate personly coaches LA and Roy, it seems like a really smart move.

Edit: I got to page 3 where he has his ranking for the season, he has portland #10 and out of the playoffs :nonono:

Man Wizenheimer, you find us some great links! :D

Edit:
In 2009, the Blazers will have cap space to fill out their team with a max free agent. "The analogy is that I got a cake when I came here, and I said, 'I don't like these ingredients, so let's redo these ingredients,' '' Pritchard said. "Right now, I'm putting the cake in the oven, I'm about to bake it, and in two years I'm going to pull it out and I'm going to see how the cake turns out. And at that point in time, I'm going to go, 'I want chocolate icing ... no, I want this kind of icing ... no, no, I want this kind of icing.' And that's when its going to be special. That's when you have a special cake. And the coach is going to be a big factor in how those ingredients play out, what he likes to do, how his philosophy has grown, and I have the best young coach in the business.''

This cake analogy is unhealthy news for the rest of the league.

Haha thats awesome.

My man-crush on Blazers is becoming a sickness. With quotes like that from Pritchard, how long will it be before i'm dreaming of a KP/Oden manwhich? And I'm straight, too!

This guy has Utah??? 6th and the Blazers dropping to 10th??

Even with our tough schedule, Utah and Denver play three more times. That's 3 Ls to be distributed to one of them.

Houston is roughly 5 games back on us and would have to flip the switch pretty quickly to pass us by. We own the tie breaker with Utah, so if we tie, we're in.

********

I read this article last night on the oregonlive forum and I think its great that LA is getting some well deserved pub too. Its easy for him to get lost in the mix playing next to last year's ROY and next too (eventually) the #1 pick.

What they didn't write:

It's only a matter of time until the rest of the league figures out what good defenders already know. Aldridge, at this point, refuses to take the ball to the hole. Instead, his scoring ability relies on open jump shots and fade-aways in the post. Hopefully this young talent will develop the aggressiveness he showed against lesser physically gifted athletes during his time at the University of Texas.

Hopefully they figure it out this year and start playing him like you'd play a Dirk. He's a hard worker, and the sooner he's shown the incompleteness of his game the sooner he'll actually believe he needs to work on it.

Any player, and coach who teaches him, knows the greatest threat he must impose is an aggressive, often foul drawing move to the bucket.

:rofl2:

No worries about me going to the other team there. Probably about as far as I'd go is to be one of the High Five'N White Guys in the KP fan club.
