I think that guy overestimates Aldridge's inside game. I think Aldridge really needs 2-3 more years before he really starts producing near his potential. I would love to see him dunk a bit more, or at least really go hard for inside shots, and get closer to 10 rbs per game. Although with Oden, his jump shot will be more valuable than his inside game. Still, he really could use a bit more strength and toughness

aldridge just needs to continue putting on weight. I always notice him getting bulled around in the lower post and has trouble establishing low post position because of his lack of strength. Dont get me wrong hes come a long way but hopefully he can put on 15-25lbs of lean muscle. Maybe Oden can help him out.

2-3 years is too much for aldridge and for the blazers.

i'm sure aldridge will have his "breakout" year next season.

I just love that the Blazers are getting so much national attention. It's just great to be able to go to cnnsi or espn and have articles about the Blazers and our favorite players again.

I think this guy did a decent job of ranking the 2nd year players. Roy is the obvious #1 and it

Not to bring up the Thomas or Bargnani debates of last year ... but you have to admit Roy and Aldridge are going in a completely different direction then those two and it shows in this article. The guy was dead on about those two (Thomas and Bargnani) .. now only if the delusional fans could see it the same way. :D

I am loving what Gay is bringing this season and I think he is going to be a great player in this league and exciting to watch.

Adam Morrison, Bobcats: He didn't prove he could play at even an average level as a rookie. Then he injured himself before the season and is now out until 2008-09. It's questionable whether he ever gets much of a chance in Charlotte, which will prove to be very painful for the No. 3 pick and the team that selected him over everyone else on this list except Bargnani and Aldridge.

Only part of that I don't get is the last sentence where he includes Aldridge, that HAD to be a typo.

Bargnani was the 1st pick, Aldridge was the 2nd. They chose morrison over everyone else.

Oh okay that makes sense, was interpreting it as in they were fools to take Adam over everyone but Aldridge and Bargnani. Getting like 4 hours of sleep a night and working 35ish hours in three days is getting to me I guess.
