Looks like Damon is on his way to San Antonio to try and win a championship. I personally do not think think is that great of a pick, because i feel he is pretty washed up. Anyone else's thoughts??

I think they picked the only PG outside of Kidd that is actually old enough to move their average age up!

I think it's a decent signing. Whether he can step up his game for a team like the Spurs or not, he's at least worth a try for the veterans' minimum. I don't know how good he'll be but if he pans out on the spurs as another veteran, cough... LEADER, then he might be able to play respectably at the PG spot. Quite honestly, Damon is probably the best backup PG they've had in a while (once TP comes back that's obviously what's he'll be doing), and I can see him helping the Spurs out.

This pickup has even less value than the Webber pick up. Damon is an undersized, poor defense

, shoot first point guard. This is the universal opinion of Damon, just how does this do much to help any team?

While Webber is slow and doesn't fit Nelson's system, he MIGHT be able to become the starting center for the warriors. On damon, he's definitely not a huge pickup but as I said in my previous post, he can't hurt the spurs much.
