McBob belongs in the D league. Hell he may not even be good enough for that. Seriously Josh's D league performance speaks for its self.

That idaho stampede team is running on all cylinders. It is ahead of their division and may even be #1 in the d league. I watched a few games and while Mcbob got looks, he was far from the focus of the offense. The guards often took it to the hoop on their own (all looking for a spot in the Nba), and rarely did mcbob get his own shots. He mainly had to get points off of second chance points, which is not his strength (hope he can develop that, though).

Ultimately, all we've learned from this trip is he still needs work and he is a decent passer for a big man.

Ya I looked at the D-League standings yesterday and Idaho is 19-5 and has won 14 straights. Holy crap!

According to Barrett's Blog, Mcbob was called up because James Jones' knee is sore again. That means Martell needs to step up against Denver.

McBob didn't really show much down there it doesn't sound like. He's still very young but I really have a hard time seeing Nate giving him many minutes this year.

Wow wait to look at the stats and judge blindly guys. He gave a whole other dimension to the playing tempo of the team and sacrificed all of the offense to a few post ups with the majority coming in the form of little guards throwin up layups to save their lives. Look at Saer Sene or someone, he averages a double double but he comes up to the NBA, and can't get more than 10 minutes on the freaking sonics. Oh yeah I forgot about the mighty Johan Petro...cmon.

When looking at a player like McBob, who's NEVER dominated the ball with sheer strength, or size, you MUST look at the intangibles he can bring to a game. He's a young hustle player. He showed he has a few moves, but anyone expecting him to be a monster will be very disappointed. He has great sound qualities, be patient with the stats.

Seeing him on TV I saw a guy that is still pretty lost on the floor. Reading scouting reports of him down the in the D-league he has sounded rather disinterested and confused.

That has nothing to do with stats. Stat wise I'd say he's been pretty solid.

I know I haven't given up on Mcbob, but the fact is that he's not showing enough at this point to sniff McMillan's rotation unless there are some serious injuries or a trade.

We called up McBum (no relation) because Jones is hurt and they need a body for practice. Josh should play for that semi pro team down in Salem, you know the one the professor plays for.
