None of you knuckleheads made a game thread
with less then a hour 'til the game?? BAD - BAD

Should be a good game tonight. This
game means something in the standings.
Lets hope the Blazers that won all those
games in a row show up tonight.. .

Keys for the Blazers to win this game.
*Roy needs to score around 24 points.
*Two other Blazers need to score around 16 points.
*BLAZERS MUST ATTACK THE RIM & GET TO THE LINE!!
*Limit the Nuggets 2nd chance points with rebounding.. .
*Blazers need lots and lots of assists.

In other words the Blazers will have to play outstanding to win.

 Classy thread Odd, I really agree this is a huge game if we can win we flip-flop Denver in the standings. The way the west is shaping out there might be only the winner of the NW making it in the playoffs. Lets all

 that the hornets can end Utah impressive run.

Portland can't shoot 40% either and expect to win.

Apparently, Camby is out...portland needs to attack the rim

And it would help if LMA put together a good game without foul trouble

Yea - I hope the Hornets can help us.

Also I think a better word instead of "Classy" would be crappy!!

Also, it should be known that James Jones will miss this game, and likely the rest of the games up until the All Star Break.

His knee that was giving him trouble at the end of the season has started to flare up again recently, so the team will sit him for the next week or so.

Is Camby official out? I was hoping he wouldn't play that man can just about out rebound portland himself.

I'd love to see our guys play a complete game, we haven't seen one from them in a long time. We'll need it against Denver. Sadly, James Jones is out until after the all-star break... Guess that kills his chances of being in the 3pt shootout? It'll be interesting to see what the white team will look like now.

Anyway, back to the game, it's gonna be a tough one. This is a huge game because of the season series tiebreaker stuff. 48 minutes, gotta play for 48 minutes!

That's what they're saying on the pre-game show on 750KXL.

jones being out might be a blessing, in the last 5 games he has been 5-20 from the 3 point line and 9-33 overall.

Jones being out would explain McRoberts re-call and this gives Webster maybe 1 last chance to prove to Nate and KP he should not be traded and remain as a piece for the future. I am not sold on Webster anymore even though i like him and would not be against him being traded.

I think it's a good chance that his poor shooting was caused by the knee...so hopefully when he's back, his shot returns to what we were seeing. Only thing that scares me is that our win streak began right around the time he returned, too. Martell needs to step up in his absence!

Big game tonight :D! This could be a real boon to us in the standings, or a real blow.

As always I'll be hanging out in the chatroom... :)

I also see this game, for some reason, as a turning point in the season. If we win this one I will believe more in our chances to make the playoffs. If we lose? Let's just say I wont hold my breath.

This game is very important for the Blazers and these last two home games will definitely need to be won before the Blazers head out on a VERY difficult road trip. Camby's out, which should help but Jones's absence may hurt the Blazers since he really helped spread the floor out. The Blazers definitely need to start the game off better than they've started games off recently if they want to win IMO, but if they can establish a 10 pt. lead or so entering the 4th quarter, I feel confident in their chances.

yesssssssss!!!! the game is on nba pass, so i'll be able to see it, well, at least the 1st half.

for the nuggets camby won't play, so their defense could be down, but their offense won't, so the blazers have to play at their best.

another thing that will be neccesary to win is the hustle and energy players like najera and kleiza give the nuggets.

this is a key game, it would send the blazers to 1 game near utah or 3 games behind.

go blazers!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just can't figure out why this Blazer team doesn't rebound well. Well, I can... they don't box out, and they only get boards by occasionally out-jumping the opponent.

Mo Lucas needs to start working overtime with this bunch. It seems like guys like Aldridge have actually REGRESSED from last year...
