Game thread: Portland vs Clippers

Post#1 » by breaker91 » Wed Feb 27, 2008 5:03 pm

My first attempt at a game thread and I feel inspired since we're in hollywood.

We know our starting 5.

PG: Blakey
SG: Webby
SF: Outlaw
PF: Aldridge
C: Pryzbilla

VS

PG: Brevin Knight
Image

SG: Cuttino Mobley
Image

SF: Corey Maggette

PF: Tim Thomas

(I don't want to make fun of him since he always kills us)

C: Not sure who they'll start, but this tough chick from Milwaukee looks like she can hold her own against Joel

Isn't Kaman back? This should be a win, but nothing's a given now-a-days. Martell-Outlaw-Aldridge all with good games?

Tony - Is that McRoberts running the arena steps??
I guess hes getting loose incase he plays. Hey
Rebecca is that what you do to get loose, run the steps?

Rebecca - Yes Tone, I run the steps before every game.
It helps me get my mind into the right place for the game.

clips are 5-20, but of course the blazers are only 11-26 so they don't have the lead they should have

Mike Barrett just said Mike Dunleavy invented Hack-A-Shaq in the 2000 playoffs. That's a bunch of crap. Don Nelson first did the Hack-A-Shaq tactic in the 1999/2000 regular season in a game Mavs won by fouling Shaq every time he touched the ball in the second half. Shaq of course missed most of his FT's in that particular game, so the strategy worked like a charm.

Nice to see us giving away the game in the 3rd quarter again. Some things never change. :noway:
