Chad Ford seems to have us pegged as taking Russell Westbrook at #13.

I've rolled it a few times and saw us get up as high as #3 in a roll, where we picked Derrick Rose.

everytime for me so far its Westbrook at #13 for us, which does not sound bad at all. Could be the guy we need at point.

^^I certainly hop you're right cause the only time I got anything other than 13 was the spin where I got 14 and we still took Westbrook.

took me 27 times to get #2 and take Rose with the Bobcats getting 1st and taking Beasley.. Not too bad for 0.6% chance

Woot! On my 11th try, I got the #1 pick and got Rose! Every other try was 13th. Now I'll quit here so it happens in real life. All we have to do is send Charles Barkley McLovin to be our Brandon Roy from last year and we're set.

Clicked it 30 times.

28 times = #13 Westbrook
2 times = #14 Chase

Ok, could we consider this the worst case scenario?

Also, am I missing something? Why is phoenix down so far? They own someone else's pick?

First off, yes, that would be the absolute worst case possible.

As for Phoenix, the pick you see there is Atlanta's. They have Atlanta's unprotected 1st rounder this season because of the Joe Johnson trade.

Ah, thats kind of what I was pondering.

I still think Atlanta could/should make the playoffs...they seemingly have good enough pieces.

Seeing Rose go to the Thuggets, and 2 other teams in our division picking in the top 5 would make me vomit I think

You should vomit until your fingers fall off for posting that POS and totally negating the good karma generated by my post.

I've clicked on this thing several times.

It looks like only the Knicks, Blazers and Nuggest would take Rose over Beasley. Why would anyone take Rose over Beasley?

BPA baby.

I'd honestly feel bad for the Hawks if they missed the playoffs. They drafted a really good PF/C in Horford. Josh Smith is still a block and rebound machine. Marvin Williams has really stepped up his game. Then they go out and get Bibby for pretty much just spare parts. Combine all that with a good SG like Johnson, and they still can make the playoffs?! Really makes you wonder.

And ya, seeing either Rose or Beasley goto Denver would make me absolutely sick to my stomach.

Hey, I'm the jackass on O-live last year saying that we shouldn't even be talking about oden/durant because there was absolutely no way we'd get a chance to pick either. Reverse psychological luck I think they call it (they being I just made it up while watching OSU beat Perdue)

On my second try, Blazers got #3 and selects Bayless.
Not bad.
But is Bayless really this high on everyone's radar?

I'd take Beasley but then trade trade down for Rose and something else from whatever team is at #2.
