I love the potential, but he just doesnt seem like a guy that will ever reach it. I would be more interested if he didnt have a history of being a pretty arrogant kid. If youre a star, you can get away with that i guess, but not if youre the second coming of darius miles
I'm pretty sure he can resign with the Celtics if he goes through the 30 day waiting period. However, I believe the Celtics have a full 15 man roster now that they've signed PJ Brown and Sam Cassell. So they'd have to cut someone to add him, which I don't really think they'd do.
As for being arrogant, I don't remember anything specifically like that. Do you have something that could jog my memory on that a bit?
Yeah, I dont like the fact that Green didn't want to practice for us before the draft, and everything that happened him since then - slipping to #18, not getting a chance in Minnesota and Houston (last year he got his share of minutes when Pierce was down) - he's earned it.
I thought Green did work out for us? The player that didn't want to work out for us was Paul (who eventually did). IIRC, Green (more specifically, his agent) refused to work out against other players, which is what really hurt him. So you can't really blame him for slipping in the draft, that was his agents fault.
