That facials one is sick but reminds me of what Outlaw can, but refuses to, do on a regular basis. :banghead:

I think that Outlaw will learn to attack more as he continues to develop. Obviously his jumper is tough to stop, and he will only get better when he rounds out his game and starts taking it in hard.

I don't think the issue with Outlaw or Martell is unwillingness to go to the rim, but ability. Neither one is steady enough with the ball or has good enough footwork or body control (strength) to gather in traffic for hard dunks. It's not that hard to look impressive when you are as athletic as they are and you have a clear path to the basket in front of you.

Martell probably has more promise in this regard than Travis. But, to Travis' credit, even though he can't dribble and gather for strong takes, he has at least worked on his handles enough that he can use his dribble to back guys down for easier (or is it more difficult?) looks in the key, instead of just using his patented one-dribble-step-back jumper.
Why I chose a thread about Blazers videos to break down their games is anybody's guess. Oh well.

I was referring more to when he does a little layup when he should have thrown it down.
