Bulls' Guards: Viable Trade Options?

I was hoping to collect a consensus opinion for Blazers fans about possible trade scenarios between Portland and Chicago this summer. As we all know, you have to give something in order to get something; I wasn't sure what POR was more open to giving, and for what in return. If you had these two options, which would you prefer?

I would love to get Gordon. Does anyone know if the Bulls would bite at this deal...

Darius Miles, Martell Webster and #13 for Ben Gordon(S&T)

Hinrich is somewhat overrated. Hes a jump
shooter, however he does hussle and when
hes on he can create havoc from outside.. .

I rather have Gordon, hes a jump shooter
to but hes able to score big sometimes.. .

the 1st problem is the "filler". There would be a big gap between the salary of Hinrich and Blake. And portland has a lot of rookie scale contracts, so they really don't have any slack on filler. It would have to be something like Blake, Outlaw, and Jack to match and that's clearly too much.

The 2nd problem is that a sign and trade of Gordon would immediately make him BYC1 and then the total trade would have to be quite large to absorb the BYC offset. This would almost certainly involve other rotation players for both teams.

None of them are my first options but wouldn't mind having them either. I think Ben Gordon is under the impression that he is worth more than 10 mil which is incorrect.

the Bulls wouldn't have a chance to bite because I believe the trade wouldn't pass CBA muster. Gordon would become BYC upon signing the contract.

For insatance, say Gordon signs for 10 million/year. His BYC amount as far as the Bulls would be concerned would be 50% of 10 milion or 5 million. The most the bulls could take back in salary would be 5 million X 125% + 100,000 or 6.35 million.

On the other hand, portland would be bringing in 10 million, so the least amount of salary they could send out would seem to be 10million/1.25 - 100,000...or about 7.9 million.

In order to absorb the BYC offset, both teams would have to send out nearly 15 million in salary apiece.

Hinrich is the best possible fit for Roy, including this year's draft. Gordon is nowhere the defender and playmaker Hinrich is.
