OK....who on the Sonics thought they would score 116 points....and lose by 52! Denver had seven players with 17+ points...insane. 44 assists? Holy cow..and only one player (Najera) shot under 50%.

Shades of Issel/Enlish/Vandeweghe.

What's even more amazing is that Denver's averaging 142ppg against the Sonics this season.

It's the sonics, I'm shocked they didn't score 200 on them. Seattle's defense has been absolutely atrocious ever since they got rid of Kurt Thomas (it's hard to believe that it actually got worse). This was a nice game on Denver's part though and I definitely give them a lot of credit for how well they played tonight. They led a very balanced offensive attack and were able to catch Seattle by surprise.

no.....no suprise there as soon as Minny beat them the other day...its time to start tanking for that special #2 Pick....And who wouldnt have traded Kurt Thomas for a future 1st Rounder??

Seattle may be bad, but did you see Denver's shooting percentages? 60% FG and 50% 3PT. That was basically everything breaking right for Denver, and when that happens...look out.

Obviously a flukish game but a lot of fun to see big numbers in the boxscore. Still makes me hate the Nuggets though.

I didn't say the trade was bad for Seattle, I was just saying Seattle's defense got worse following the trade.

Seattle is going to be scary. They have so many fkn first round picks. PLZ take 3 project centers in the near future :)

Just think--one more point and Denver would have matched what the Philadelphia Warriors scored the night Wilt Chamberlain got 100 all by himself.
