LaMarcus Aldridge season stats:
Minutes: 34.5 FG%: .492 FT%: .756 OFF: 2.8 DEF: 4.6 BOARDS:7.4 DIMES: 1.5 STEALS:0.8 BLOCKS: 1.3 TO:1.6 PPG:17.8
For those of you like me and like it this way: 17.8 PPG, 7.4 Boards w/ 2.8 OFF, 1.3 Blocks per game, 1.5 Assists per game.
Knocking on 18 PPG which is exactly doubling the 9 PPG he put up last year, he averages 3 more rebounds a game, but no more offensive then his rookie season which shows alot about his rebounding. Definitely will be fine w/ Oden and a Pryzbilla off the bench those next year.
So we obviously are expecting a 20ppg season next year, I'd imagine he won't average much more rebounds in his career.. anyone else?
His last 8 games: 29, 22, 25, 20, 20, 26, 31, 22 points respectively.

Gotta include Roy too. Their March stats:
Roy: 21.3/6.0/5.3 on 47% fg, 39% 3pt
Aldridge: 22.1/7.0 on 53% fg
It's hard to quell my desire to troll every single Foye/Thomas/Bargnani thread in team forums. Seriously
edit: My prediction for him was an optimistic 18/8 with a possible all-star appearance. I'll gladly take 17.7/7.3 and Roy being an all-star

Hell yeah. Gotta love seeing bright spots in our young team that don't coincide with blind homerism.. numbers baby numbers!

Hmmm, didn't Aldridge start playing like that after the thread where we sent him to Memphis for Conley, Gay, and rights to Beasley?
Know why he's been playing so good lately? He's gone into the paint. Incorporated both an inside and outside game.

If I were on the Blazers I'd troll every forum here hardcore except for this one

Hopefully Aldridge can start consistently putting up 24 ppg, then you got Brandon throwin up 22-23, and Oden/Outlaw will both be getting at least 15, if that happens we'll be in good shape.

Both Aldridge and Roy are playing like most of us hoped they could. They still have a lot of growth ahead of them.
Hopefully LMA gets a bit stronger this off-season, but no so much that ir slows him down.
And for godsake Brandon...work on your free throw shooting this summer.

Who knows if Aldridge is even going to be playing basketball in 2 years, due to his bad luck with health.
They must be getting Aldridge mixed up with Ford somehow.

Seriously! He has missed what? A grand total of 40 games in four years? Isn't that about the same pace Bosh misses games at?

It would suck to be a Raptor or Bulls fans when watching Aldridge develop into a real offensive threat. I know the Blazers have made their own draft mistakes in the past, but it's nice to be on the other end of that.
If I was going to pick one thing I like about Aldridge, it would be his work ethic that ultimately leads to his incredibly high ceiling of potential.

Don't forget that he runs like a douche, which gives him almost unlimited douche-ousity.

Roy and Aldridge both have 20 point games consistantly and we win.
Shocking.

Honestly I don't know if this is a joke or not, but it sounds pretty stupid either way.

It's a inside joke from awhile back. I forgot who originally said Aldridge runs like a douche, but... Whatever.

I haven't had a chance to watch any recent games but I'm gonna assume he's not jacking 10 shots from 18 foot and bricking most of them now.

That's EXACTLY why.
Anyone have his averages since the all star break?

Aldridge post all-star: 20/7.5/2/1/1 .520 shooting. Pretty impressive considering his minutes haven't changed.

Were all just lucky to see this mans game grow, there have been lots of reports praising his work ethic and clearly the results are speaking. Hopefully he puts the same drive on improving his rebounding this off season.
