This is a definitely must win if the Blazers want a winning season. The sonics have been terrible defensively especially recently so the key to winning is simply outscoring them. The sonics don't play defense so my only concern is if the Blazers can match the offensive intensity of the sonics.
The Sonics seem like one of those teams that has no right to play us as well as they always do, sort of like the Blazers to the Lakers the last few years.
I've come to a conclusion, neither Jarrett OR Blake have anything to offer leading a fastbreak, we have the ugliest transition game in the league and the coaches need to do whatever they can to get our team in a better set when they come down the floor. The Blazers are the only team in the league where being on a fastbreak is anything but an advantage. CUTTERS! OUTLET PASSES! SPRINT!!! cmon.
Please tell me how you can't play man to man on the Sonics, I beg of you Mcmillan.. if they get a single point not from open shots but actually creating a shot then I'll be so shocked.
