Staying at Arizona. It broke on the local talker here (620 AM). I live in Tempe so I have it on as background through out the day. Had Lute not come back he would have gone to the NBA. Bayless is stoked to play with the new PG coming in to U of A next season, plus a highly rated seven footer and a PF.

I still wont believe it until the deadline to declare has passed. Theres nothing for him to gain by passing up a top 5 slot. When the time comes to declare and he sees the money that he will get by going to the NBA, hed be stupid to pass it up. All it takes is one injury. You dont let a top 5 projection go for another year

Bayless and Brandon Jennings are going to kick ass next year.

well, how real ar his chances of winning the college championship?
maybe he's smart enough to maybe know he needs to work a little more and seek something that won't come around too often.
but until the final day anything can happen.

yep they would be a great combo but dont you think that this would affect the draft stock of bayless? jennings plays the point thus shifting bayless as the 2 guard....his stock would probably be higher if he was handling or leaving for the draft as a point this year than being an undersized 2 guard when jennings comes....

How many top 5 prospects actually go back to school?
Maybe Bayless will do it, but if he gets any good financial advice it will be obvious the risks are just too high.

He could very well be blowing smoke. Chances are he's going to go to the NBA. There's just too many risks involved with staying at Arizona.

How many times have we heard this...
And then the exact opposite happens.
