I was just checking that out yesterday (I was rather confused by the headline McRoberts sent back to D-League after our season was over) and was surprised to see a number of familiar names. It's really too bad that Luke Jackson couldn't find a place in the NBA. In fact it seems like that whole class of Ducks is falling on hard times right now (as is the group of Ducks looking to get drafted this year).
Go Idaho! haha

Thanks for the post TBPup. I'll have to try to watch it tonight (I assume it's on NBATV?).
I think that Jackson will find a niche in the NBA. I think it will just take the right team/system to get it done. I can pretty easily see him in the triangle offense. I also think he'd do well on a team like San Antonio that has a very structured offense with very defined roles.
If Outlaw or Webster get moved this off season, I wouldn't mind giving Luke a look.

Josh only had 3 blocks in game 2 (still his season high). I think you were looking at something else.
Josh's stats look pretty bad, considering the D league competition.
Season averages:
7.7 points
41.4% shooting
6.4 rebounds
2.5 assists
2 turnovers
1 block
27 minutes

I think guys between 6'5" and 6'8" that aren't extraordinarily skilled or athletic have to have very quick feet, quick hands, and a very good work ethic to make it in the NBA. Luke was a great college player but he doesn't have the lateral quickness of Ime Udoka. Ime has the quickness and toughness to be a good defender. Plus, Ime is a hard worker and has developed a reliable 3 pt shot so he can be a threat on offense. Luke doesn't have that quickness, so to be a weapon he needs to shoot the 3 as well as Kapono in order to make it.
